Just because Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, it doesn't mean she'll do the time. Because of overcrowding and other issues, L.A. inmates often get sprung early. 
Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in the very same facility in which Paris is scheduled to do time for the very same offense -- probation violation over a DUI conviction. Rodriguez served a grand total of 2 hours before jail officials told her to get lost.

She won't spend 45 Days in jail! That is all that she was sentenced too! She'll more than likely spend 10/14 days, and then be out on good behavior or somehting silly like that! It is a waste of Tax Payers money that she is being Sentenced to jail! They should charge her with a felony, make her go to a Reabilitation Hospital and do Community Service on people that have been involved with Drunk Drivers or Drug related offenses and she should be sent to a Pedatric Ward, were she has to see young children clinging for life because people driven under suspension and DUI/Drug offenses hurt these innocent children, that might bother her and straighten her out! But this sentence will just clear her mess up, and it will not bother her to come out in two or three weeks and then she'll be smiling, laughing and making a big joke out of all this! She is not going to learn anything from this, and it will not bother her in the end! It is only embrassing her right now, and the unknown scares her, but once she is in, and starts talking to people, she'll adjust, she'll think it is a piece of cake and she'll be back to her above the law ways! This is all a joke, if they would have given her the 90 day sentence maybe, but 45 take a quarter of that, plus days for good behavior and she'll spend on 10/14 days tops!

I don't know. The prosecutor really went after her. I think they are trying to prove a point and really going after her. I think they will make her do most of her time.

I think the District Attorney's statement is a joke! This girl will never receive any punishment. How many times through all of this have we seen the photos of this girl driving besides the times for which she was cited? She's above the law no matter what publicty is released.

2 hrs?? those animal sacrifices must really work. what a joke they both need to do the time given to them, no wonder so many of them continue to endanger the lives of others on the road. the justice system always lets them beat the rap. I guess you can't make money off rich people in jail, only the poor make the prison system a stock on wall street.

Don't worry folks, she will do the whole 45 day stint. Rocky and Antonio (L.A.'s Mayor and City Attorney) will see to it, believe me. They both want to be re-elected and the world is watching.
