Just because Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, it doesn't mean she'll do the time. Because of overcrowding and other issues, L.A. inmates often get sprung early.
Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in the very same facility in which Paris is scheduled to do time for the very same offense -- probation violation over a DUI conviction. Rodriguez served a grand total of 2 hours before jail officials told her to get lost.
Stay tuned.

It seems to me she is famous whoring, drinking and partying, I mean with role models like this for Americas youth is it no wonder our society has become so debased. Paris needs to spend all 45 days in jail, if she did not have money she would already be there. Put her in jail and be done with it, equal justice for all!
If she is in regular LA County Jail, say the Twin Towers Correctional facility, she'd typically end up doing a "County 45" which is 10% of the time she is supposed to serve - probably 5 days. Overcrowding is no joke there (not saying or not whether I've ever been inside there)
Of course, Paris Hilton (or any person who can afford a typical long term duration hotel stay of $80-120 a night) can afford to do their time in a Pay Jail Facility in LA.
There, she'll be isolated from other inmates, can use a laptop, will have to do a little work in the facility, etc. I'd Expect Hilton to do about 20-30 days in one of these places and maybe a little CalTrans highway cleanup :)
I can't believe it took this LONG!--She clearly broke the law, and thought she would walk----Gee wiz--Get Busted, told you can't drive??
Yep My next move would be a new car to flaunt it--while I am on my cell
Paris, are you seriously that stupid?
You need new management!
Or Parents
If you want to thank the LA City attorney for helping that brat, Paris Hilton sent to jail in June, e-mail him at:
Rocky.Delgadillo@lacity.org
Also, urge him not to accept any plea bargains. Make sure she serves the full 45 days! Now that's hot!
Thank the judge in Paris's hearing! Here's how!
Send your thanks to the judge in Paris's hearing and also urge him to refuse any plea bargains:
Michael T. Sauer, judge, Los Angeles County Superior Court (Metropolitan Courthouse, Dept. 60), 1945 S. Hill St., Los Angeles, CA 90007,
Pass on this address to everyone you know!
They should've revoked Paris's passport. For all we know she could get on a private plane and fly out of the country thus being the Fugitive 2.
there is noooo way she will be going to jail - if it was one of us hell yeah we would be doing time - the luxury of the haves and have nots -
No one should go to jail because a District Attorney want's to make an example out of them. Putting someone in jail should only be decided by the facts of the case. I'm sure she will appeal.
Here's a website with a petition to make sure she does her jail time.... please sign it people!
