Paris to World -- I'm a Victim of Cruelty

Paris Hilton is not going down without a fight.

The day after she was sentenced to 45 days in the slammer for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license, Hilton walked outside her house and told a gaggle of camerapeople, "I told the truth yesterday. I feel that I was treated unfairly." Hilton called the sentence "both cruel and unwarranted" and added "I don't deserve this."

52. I've often scratched my head with regard to the young people (their parents) who are of extreme wealth who consider themselves so privileged they can abide by a different set of legal standards than the rest of us.

Well, Paris, we as taxpayers do not wish you harm or physical discomfort though as hardworking middle income contributors we want you to know that our judicial system should serve EVERYONE (who repeatedly breaks the laws) and, hopefully, the Los Angeles County Courts are listening as you were given more chances ( the exact number of chances are unknown to us) than the average young person. Additionally, with the disrepect your mother showed the prosecutor the other day, she (too) could learn a harsh lesson by having the judge incarcerate her for a few days.

Your parents knew what you were up to and you had full-time limousine service available to you but, no, you chose a false sense of "freedom" at all costs and, therefore, placed yourself in a position of learning your lesson in a harsh way. Hopefully, you'll come out of this a better person and find a renewed direction in your life and a way to perform positive service, create, and open your heart for the betterment of all the impoverished children in the world who are suffering instead of walking through life as a narcissist which has led to this type of behavior.

One day you will realize the Los Angeles County Court prosecutor and judge (involved in your case) gave you the best gift of your life and made up for the lack of guidance you received from your parents and friends in this life. They are giving you a chance to wake-up before you take the LIFE of an innocent victim while driving under the influence of alcohol.

53. As Patton Oswalt says, she deserves to be eaten by wolves. But I suppose 45 days in jail will have to do.

57. Young Hollywood should learn from this...unfortunately they probably will not. At that age we all think we are indestructible that that things always happen to someone else.

I know I did plenty of stupid things @ that age and I was just fortunate enough to not get caught! Had I been caught though, I would have accepted responsibility, and dealt with the consequences. My parents would have had it no other way!!
