Paris to World -- I'm a Victim of Cruelty

Paris Hilton is not going down without a fight.

The day after she was sentenced to 45 days in the slammer for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license, Hilton walked outside her house and told a gaggle of camerapeople, "I told the truth yesterday. I feel that I was treated unfairly." Hilton called the sentence "both cruel and unwarranted" and added "I don't deserve this."

91. Oh PUUUUULEASE --The judge was too HARD on her .

YOu have GOT to be kidding.

Paris and her blabber mouth mother disrespect the courts everytime she
gets arrested ... It is ALL a big joke to Paris and Cathy Hilton and
the laws don't apply to them. If I would have driven drunk and drove with a suspended liscense twice, once at 11 pm with the lights OUT-- the judge would have
thrown me in the slammer right away-- Not wait a month so I could appeal and
boo hoo to the press. This is ridiculous Paris. You do the crime, you pay the time.

93. Lawgirl - It's lawyers like you that are the problem with the legal system. Hon, it's called passing the bar, not drinking at one

94. #29, Lawgirl: You couldn’t be further from the truth in connection with [the] comments contained in your post. Ms. Hilton was originally pulled over by the West Hollywood Sheriffs for driving erratically + making an illegal U-turn in her $500K Mercedes- Benz SLR McLaren, apparently because she had a late night craving for an In-N-Out hamburger. Subsequently, she was given a field sobriety test which she failed since it registered .08, the legal limit in California for DUI. Secondly, she was initially placed on a 36 month period of probation/release with the condition that she enroll + register by a date certain in a court vetted alcohol treatment program, which she NEVER complied with. Secondly, her driver’s license was suspended immediately since she had no prior DUI convictions + no injury or death resulted from the underlying misdemeanor conviction which she pleaded “no contest” to. Also, she was required not to use alcohol for a period of 90 days as another condition of her probation. BTW – you are, once again, incorrect, she was originally charged with BOTH reckless driving + DUI. Secondly, she was pulled over on no less than THREE other occasions after her probation was granted by the court in her Bentley GTC for driving without any front or rear license plates, since the car was brand new but lacked the DMV paperwork (she was given a warning + she was required to sign a citation that acknowledges she was driving with a suspended license). This was actually found in the glove compartment of her Bentley when she was pulled over AGAIN driving at a high rate of speed down Sunset Blvd. at night in her Bentley without her headlights on. So Lawgirl, this wasn’t simply a single violation of probation for a first offender, but multiple violations for failure to comply with the conditions of her release. The court could have easily ordered her to 90 days maximum, so actually the judge went easy on the b*tch. The fact that the court added “special conditions” to her period in, custody specifically that she serve her time in an overcrowded L.A. County detention facility, with no work release/community service as an option, even with a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device + home confinement in lieu of jail time. I’m afraid that the judge was well within legal foundation under California law to impose a 45 day sentence in county jail. “Lawgirl”, maybe you need to go back to “Law School” LOL

98. Wake up Honey this is the Real World. Where if you want to live in the USA than you have to keep the Laws of the Land. Not break the Law, and than say, I am a victim. Do you think that if you would have taken a life, after Not Obeying the Law the Family would say that you are a victim. Just be a Law abiding Citizen like the rest of us. And thats not Cruelty thats a Fact.....

99. She should have gotten what any normal person would have gotten. She acted like getting busted for a DUI was no big deal. Would she have thought the same thing if she had smacked into a car with a family in it? Hope they make her snotty ass sit there and watch endless hours of accidents that happened as results of a DUI. Eventually, hopefully, it will sink in that it is a BIG deal!!

101. BIG BIG KUDOS to Judge Sauer!!! Finally, someone who is not afraid to do what is right. These poor little rich kids get to do whatever they damn well please. She's lucky she didn't hurt somebody.
No sympathy here. You do the crime, you do the time. That's how it is out here in the real world honey. You need to stop living in that fantasy land of yours and get a dose of the real life. Oh wait.......you will!!! That's hot....
I bet she is scared. She should be. Jail ain't the Hilton. It's not even the Super 8! Maybe this will wake up these immature whiny brats.
And her mom needs to be totally ashamed of herself. I wish these mega-rich people would get their butts kicked a few times, just to bring them down a couple of notches. You don't hold yourself above others when you have good fortune. You are no better than the rest, you just have more (however you got it). You need to teach your kids to be responsible, and be thankful for what they have, and give back to the community.
I hope Paris realizes that there are little girls out here who look at her, even though their parents discourage it, as SOMEONE. She may not have asked for the responsiblity, but she has it regardless. I know I'm ranting, and rambling, but I get so disgusted with these people.
Again, kudos to Judge Sauer. I don't know you and you don't know me, but you have my never ending respect.

102. She apparently didn't even bother to learn WHAT the terms of her probation were. Wouldn't that have been the 1st thing YOU would have done -- "How can I not get arrested again, 'cause I'll probably go to jail if I do?"

103. In a matter of time Paris will find a way to profit from this!!!!

104. Did you hear the paparazzi in the video talking to Paris as she came out of her home? What a bunch of ass kissing morons. "Hang in there Paris...we LOVE You"....I have no respect at all for those low lives...they should all carry rolls of toilet paper so they can wipe her ass as well...disgusting morons!!

105. I guess people who are rich and famous feel that they don't have to obey the laws? Paris you got off easy you spoiled brat. For the parents who have lost their children from drunk drivers...The penalty is null for you. Too many people have lost loved ones from egocentric alcoholics as yourself. Go to jail. Do not pass go!
