Paris Judge Gets Standing O -- What the Flock?!

TMZ has learned that the Los Angeles judge who sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days in the slammer was given a saint's welcome by his fellow parishoners ... with a standing ovation on his weekend visit to church!

Sources inside tell TMZ that Judge Michael T. Sauer entered the St. Brendan church in Los Angeles and was greeted with a holy round of standing applause!

Judge Sauer ended his workday on Friday by sentencing Paris Hilton to 45 days in county jail, ordering the wayward heiress to turn herself in on June 5 at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood.

Can I get a witness!!!

19. Uh-oh, the moral minority. I guess forgiveness isn't one of the virtues taught there- just the usual bunch of hypocrites. The real question is if you are going to behave like that why even attend?

Judge Sauer,

Thank you for not backing down from the Hiltons and imposing the 45-day sentence on her. This BS star treatment had to stop. Now the only way to make it complete is to make sure she serves the full amount. No appeals, overturning and early releases due to overcrowding. We don't want another Michelle Rodriguez situation where she didn't even serve a full day. Please do everthing in your power to uphold the sentence. Good job!

21. I think its funny that Miss Hilton thinks its not fair that she should have to be accountable for her actions. She repeatedly violated her probation and did not sign up for the court mandated classes. The sentencing was the legal consequence of the crime. Congratulations to the Judge for not being swayed by the Hilton name or money. He was absolutely correct in his sentencing.

22. She says the sentence is not fair, they are only doing it to her because of who she is...well, its because of who she is that she figured she could get away with driving with a suspended license...so I don't feel bad for her.

23. Post #2: Why do you think that Christians should be against the law? We show forgiveness, but also believe in the tough love that is required for change! I cannot think of anyone that is exempt from the consequences of choice! Why should we forgive her? She hasn't even accepted responsibility for her dangerous actions. Perhaps this Judge has saved her life or the life of some poor innocent driving hear yer! Open your eyes... this is a good thing, if it brings change into this poor woman's life.

28. #24.......Don't worry about what comes out of David Paul's "arse"........He says he works for a radio station, but the address that he has supplied in the past is bogus. "If" he works for a radio station he either is cleaning the urinals or they are using this site as fuel for their show......I think he cleans the urinals :-)
