61. So many judges get star struck or want media coverage . So glad to see that there is one judge doing his job! I know what Pair's next reality show should be! Paris Hilton gone wild behind bars! They can have that guy that does girls gone wild and Paris can do all of cell block C !

62. In a state that needs to release criminals that have actually harmed another human being due to overcrowding,....it is foolish to be putting Paris Hilton in jail for driving while not intoxicated, while not hitting anything or anyone. It would make far more sense to sentence her to community service like another model was given for throwing a phone at her maid. This would certainly teach Paris a lesson and most likely would not endanger her. I think there are too many jelous people out there if you really think anyone (even Paris) should serve 45 days at taxpayers expense rather than do community service which will save money for the tax payer. If drinking was the problem I would suggest the same detox Britney went through but at her own expense. I am not a fan of Paris Hilton but I am a fan of not wasting tax payer monies.

63. The public can't be stupid enough to think she really didn't know her license was revoked. She is lucky it was only 45 days. Maybe this will scare some sense into her. The judge did the right thing.

64. I am reminded of Leona Helmsley, who, like Paris, thought she was above the law and learned otherwise. I feel sorry for Ms. Hilton, who has lived an artificial life of extravagance and self-indulgence. It is no wonder that she feels this penalty to be an injustice. She has been groomed to be a narcissist, and that is sad. The best thing that could happen to her, but amost certainly will not, is that she will come to her senses in jail and realize that nothing in her life has taught her either humility or responsibility, and that there are lots of poorer people in the world who deal with life more honestly and effectively than she. She could grow up a little, but is likely to instead be awash in sel-pity. . . that is, if her money and some really expensive lawyers don't get her out of the situation. As for the judge, he did his job, but the good people at St. Brendan's should not have done what they did.

65. He would have been more deserving if he'd thrown her in the slammer instantly & tossed her mom in after her for contempt. Why the applause for only partially doing his job.

67. Hey David Paul why do you say your in GA when your in Fl? Why pretend???? You need the ratings man? Are you still waiting for the Hiltons to call?? Your on your way out!!!!! I guess you need a job if your posting for Paris all over town! Hiltons are not going to call you, give it up!

68. To #2: Another crucifixion? Are you comparing her to Christ? Is she some kind of god to you? Now I know you're insane!! And by the way, that loving your neighbor comment works both ways. Paris doesn't love anyone but herself. She has proven that time and time again. She is mean and spiteful to almost everyone she meets and thinks she's better than everyone. You need to think before you speak.

69. Good for you, Judge. I think it should have been longer though, especially after she arrived 15 minutes late for court! Get over yourself Paris. You are a douch bag with money. I don't find you interesting at all. Not all men want you, honey. Have fun in jail!!!

70. Hey Fan!!!!
You trash the people as "Christian haters" and how we are all jealous. Well my misinformed friend I have done VERY well in life and have no reason to be jealous. But unlike Paris and you I believe the law pertains to ALL of us. You seem so upset by this that I can only conclude that you are one of those simpletons that has to live their life through someone like Paris Hilton.. WRONG CHOICE!!! You really must have some kind of mental/emotional/social disorder to live your life this way. GET HELP SOON!!!

71. Poor Paris. She didn't understand that when a license is SUSPENDED, that means you aren't supposed to drive - that's the first time. The second time - she knew. Why else was she driving at night without lights? She didn't want anyone to see her! Poor Paris. Pity that bucks can't buy you brains!

And applaud the judge???? Why give her a month to cry her eyes out on the media's shoulder? She did wrong; she got caught. Give her the sentence and take her away just as you would for those without her financial backing.

72. Bravo to Judge Michael T. Sauer! Aside from what she hasn't been caught doing, she shows no regard for the law and continues to show a total lack of self respect. While I highly doubt this will teach her any kind of lesson, it may display to all those young girls who emulate her that this is NOT hot!

74. Look at Paris' mother walking behind her in this photo. Gee - the old bag needs hair plugs to cover that bald spot. No wonder she is so bitter. All that money, and they are still ugly, nasty b**ches. Just shows - money doens't buy class.

Good for the judge. He wasn't influenced by their name, and I'm sure that's what they were counting on. Welcome to the real world, Parasite.

75. Hey #2, this Christian does love their neighbor. By protecting them from a drunk driver. When you lose a family member to someone who thinks they can drive drunk, you may understand a little better. My nephew was killed sitting in a passenger seat on his way home, A drunk driver hit them head on, The family has lost a boy who would have had a bright future, So, before you critize a judge who finally does the right thing, visit MADDs site, look at some of the people who lost their lives because someone thought they could drive drunk.
Paris needs to spend jail time, not that it's going to help her, she probably will drink and drive again,
This judge deserves a medal for passing this sentence. If you idolize pond scum like Paris and Britney, and the rap artists who commit crimes, and get away with it, my sympathies to you.
