You have helped so many people that it's now the fan's turn to help you buy showing our support for you during this difficult time. Your true fan's won't turn their backs on you now anymore than you would turn your back to help someone else.

Ty you are still one of the most amazing people I have ever met, you still rock in my opinion and always will. 47. This event doesn't define Ty, just like last summer, Mel Gibson;s DUI doesn't define him, nor diminish him as a creative artist.

Let's see what kind of lemonade he can make with this lemon.

I'm thankful that he took responsibility, and I believe he will emerge an ever greater/stronger person from this.

It's all about what you do going forward. You can either let the situation defeat you and drag you down, or rise above it.

48. Ty: BFD...So you were caught driving under the influence. Is it bad judgment. Sure. You apologized and realized your lapse in judgment. More forward dude.

Until the law makers in this country can start applying the law to the lawbreakers (ILLEGAL INVADERS)...any American, doing any infraction...should be let off. This is discrimination. You have to abide by the law but illegals get a free pass...and free...everything else. BS!

As for Hilton..the same goes but I am really not into people as shallow as a mud puddle.

50. OMG!! Ty is human?!? Yes, he is, and a wonderful human, at that! Posting bail and being released is NOT "star treatment". And any atty worth sawdust would advise a client NOT to quickly and openly admit guilt, let alone apologize. Give the man a break, and accept the fact that while he may be a star, he isn't putting on airs, or blaming everyone else!

51. i almost wish this Ty got in a horrific accident so all the celebrities out there who are "above the law" could finally have a staunch reality check. This guy says he is sorry but he is a talking head who is trying to save his career. let him go appologize in person to everyone that ever got maimed in a drunk driving accident then he can be in my good graces again.

All these people saying that Ty is just talking out of his ass to do damage control, and trying to keep the "great image he has on TV"... do you know how many people's lives he has changed for the better? He puts his heart and soul into every one of his special projects for every single family. I think that's pretty genuine.
He made a mistake, but he admitted he made a mistake. And yes, he will probably be put through the same as everyone else, but the reason I have more respect for him in this incident: he took responsibility. Not every celebrity out there is ignorant.

55. Atleast Ty is mature enough to recognize a mistake. Open his eyes and see the pitcure . He could have done a lot worse. so i doubt it will happen again . he will walk or have a driver i am sure the next time . For he knows all of the kids that he has touched their lives. On the other hand Paris is not that smart . She is only stupid blonde smart . all that money that her family has . Has made her ignorant and stupid. so with that said Ty is in a totally different group than Paris.

58. Maybe, just maybe Ty might find that drinking isn't the answer. I quit in 1989 and never looked back. It can be done and yes, there is a life without 'partying'. Luckily, this once, no one was hurt but Ty also let down the team! After seeing him on Leno this story doesn't come as that much of a surprise, I got the feeling from that show that he was 'a bit of a lad'.
