46. Hum, for a guy who's job it is to make life better for others in their darkest time. You would think getting behind the wheel after a few drinks would make that little voice in the back of his head say, "Hey I've helped at least one family on my show that has had a loved one killed by a DRUNK DRIVER! And Ive seen what the effects does to these people and the people around them. Maybe I'll spend some of that tv money on a cab ride home instead".
Jackass move Ty. You, Paris, Nicole... are lucky the only run-in you had was with the law.
Grow brains people.

47. He's lucky he got arrested instead of seriously injuring, or worse - killing, someone. A DUI is nothing compared to vehicular homicide. It's amazing how many people are willing to take the chance of throwing away their lives by getting behind the wheel drunk.

49. I see a couple of you talking about the guy and medication he may have taken for ADHD or ADD...this would be a BIGGER reason for him not to drink -period. You don't know what kind of reaction you may have with prescription drugs and alcohol. But I also agree with the person who said that this is a bigger problem than we recognize. Drunk people don't know they are drunk. ...and they drive...(or start fights....or throw up on themselves or other people....fall out in streets.... )If you plan to drink you should find another way home. CAB, Limo, call a friend to take you home. Why should I feel bad about someone who is caught DUI. If someone didn't pour the alcohol down your throat you only have yourself to blame. The only ones I feel sorry for are the thousands of persons who die annunally who are driving home from work, school, grocery stores, daycare, friends houses and so on and get HIT, MAIMED and KILLED by DRUNK DRIVERS. I think the ones who feel sorry for DUI drivers are the ones who also have driven drunk.....and hope someone will have sympathy for them when they get caught.

53. Ty is one of how many hundred prople that got arrested over Cinco D Mayo and the Fight weekend and I don't see anyone elses name pujblished or their picture spread across the internet...NOT that I condone driving while intoxicated but I am getting a bit tired of the ssue of announcing each celebrity who gets arrested...Now Paris Hilton's story is another thing...

55. Aside from losing respect for these people who come on "sincere", I am more concerned as to the reasons they choose to do what they do without care as to the consequences of their actions. Is all of Hollywood that shallow? If so...I'll just leave my TV off. I agree, they are so damn rich, why don't they hire a Limo to haul their asses around in.

56. It looks like Ty needs an extreme make over himself. No one is above the law.

57. Oh jeez people. The guy made a mistake. He should NOT get fired. This is rediculous. I can guarantee that you people out there making these judgmental statements have been guilty of getting behind the wheel after a couple...your or your spouse or your dad...maybe they should lose their jobs too...I'm NOT saying being charged with a DUI is acceptable...but people make mistakes and that doesn't make them an 'alcoholic' with a problem either....

59. Be careful how hard you throw that stone. Everyone has made wrong choices at least once in their life. Easy to judge when it's not you or one of yours. Hollywood is human...despite all the botox and plastic and we all make mistakes. Difference is we are not Always in the spotlight.

60. I'm very sorry to read this, as I am a fan of Ty's, and the show.Celebs need to realize that people look up to them(some of them, anyway), and hold themselves to a higher standard. Having money shouldn't mean that everyone has to get drunk and drugged all the time.
