121. I am soooooo disappointed.I am such a huge fan of the show and it upsets me that he was doing that. What is going to happen to the show now?It won't be the same without him.He is such a nice guy and it's too bad that he now has this hanging over his head.He should not be drinking/drugging and driving no matter what but i'm starting to think that stars are getting targeted more than ever now.How about every single person at a bar that gets in a car at one in the morning to drive home. You know that they are above the limit. You might as well just shut down the bars and ban booze.Come on!I hope he straightens this out and I hope he keeps his job.Do something smart Ty!The show needs you!

122. I don't get it? He has everything. My hubby works his behind off and we can barely afford milk, he has it all .. his own decorating line and a show that helps people in need. I would hate to see what he would do if he had nothing going for him?

123. ...#123)...SOUNDS LIKE A REAL PRO HERE...HOW MANY DUI's HAVE YOU HAD MR. nic? THE LAW IS THE LAW...IN ANY STATE...YOU BREAK IT, YOU SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES. AND...IF YOUR IN THE PUBLIC EYE LIKE TY, HE ANSWERS AS MUCH AS YOU AND I SHOULD. BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE IS PART OF THE LAW AS WELL. .

124. I agree with Cindy. These movie stars, sports figures, rockstars have zero regard for
human life (unless it's in some third world country, save yourselves!!!) We idolize
them and make them rich and they do not even have the common decency to set an
example. With fame comes responsibility and if you are a celebrity and you mess up
your punishment should be more severe than the average joe. Why, to set and example.
It seems young people want to emulate everything these fools do, so use them to teach
kids what not to do.

125. Shame on you Ty! I have seen makeover shows that you have done for families who have been affected by someone drinking and driving. I think you should get some community service out of this and donate a home OUT OF YOUR POCKET to a family or mother, father or children who have been left without their loved ones because some idiot got behind the wheel of a car after drinking.

126. YES, YOU ARE ALL RIGHT TY SHOULD HAVE CALLED A CAB OR A LIMO!!!!! BUT, WHEN YOU ARE DRUNK YOU DON'T THINK ABOUT THOSE KINDS OF THINGS AND HE PROBABLY WASN'T PLANNING ON DRINKING A WHOLE LOT BEFORE HE REALIZED HE WAS WASTED. THE PERSON THAT WAS WITH HIM SHOULD OF HAD ENOUGH BALLS TO CALL HIM A CAB, OR WHO EVER WAS WITH HIM THAT NIGHT. I'M SURE HE WASN'T ALONE. JUST LIKE PARIS AND NICLOE AND BRANDI THEY SHOULD PAY THE CONSEQUNCES FOR THEIR ACTIONS. EXCEPT BRANDI DID KILL SOMEONE WITH HER CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T KNOW IF SHE WENT TO PRISON FOR VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER. TY IS A GOOD GUY HE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE AND WILL AND IS PAYING FOR IT. TRUST ME HE WILL LEARN A LESSON. DON'T ACT LIKE YOU PEOPLE NEVER DID ANYTHING STUPID IN YOUR LIFE. YOU ARE ALL QUICK TO JUDGE. TY IS NOT THAT BIG OF A CELEB. BUT I'M SURE HE WILL BE NOW!!!! JUST LIKE DAVID HASSELHOLF AT LEAST HE WAS DRINKING IN A MOTEL AND DIDN'T DRIVE AND IS TRYING TO HELP HIMSELF OUT OF HIS FUNK. HIS DAUGHTER TAPING HIM WILL NOT CAUSE HIM TO SEEK HELP. IT HAS TO BE ON HIS OWN. OH, AND REMEMBER NICK NOLTE WHEN HE WAS ARRESTED AND MEL GIBSON????? EVERYONE RIPPED ALL OF THEM A NEW ASSHOLE!!! TRUST ME THEY ALL PAY FOR IT IN THE LONG RUN. BUT, WE DON'T HAVE TO CRUSIFY TY FOR MAKING A MISTAKE. YOUR NOT TELLING HIM SOMETHING HE DOESN'T ALREADY KNOW. THIS WORLD IS CHNGING AND IS GETTING WORSE WITH PEOPLE LOSING THERE WAY AND LETTING EVIL HAVE IT'S WAY. iN STEAD OF DRILLING A HOLE IN HIS HEAD, PRAY FOR HIM AND ALL THESE CELEBS THAT HAVE LOST THE MEANING OF LIFE AND ALL THEY KNOW IS ACTING AND MONEY. NONE OF THEM KNOW HOW TO JUST RELAX AND STAY AT HOME FOR ONCE AFTER THERE HARD DAY OF ACTING!!!!!!! cAN YOU GET OUT THERE AND ACT? OR CAN YOU HOST A SHOW OR DO WHAT TY DOES? THAT'S ALOT OF WORK. YES, HE SHOULD HAVE UNWOUND AT HOME. BUT, DON'T ACT LIKE HE IS THE DEVIL HIMSELF FOR MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE. I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE OR HEAR OF HIM GETTING ANOTHER DUI.

128. Geeeeeeeeeee guess a lot of the average people have never been drunk and driving or any other silly questionable situation. Only reason people in the lime light are in the headlines is they are famous - they are not the only ones caught driving drunk - Now I don't condone driving drunk and the DUI is what they deserve and any other punishment they are dished out by the courts of law, but don't toss stones if you have never done anything silly such as driving under the influence of booze or any other silly thing - we are all human and do make mistakes. If you are perfect then you are god, if not , then just try and not be caught in similar situations. Be thankful that you are not in the public's eye.

My opinion after 61 years trying to stay out of trouble as well..............just an honest guy here.

(Oh yeah, I do make mistakes now and then.....)

130. Ty, Got to make up for what you've done. You know that town in Kansas that just got blown away by a gigantic tornado well, Todd, your mission is to get your ABC Home Edition show out to Greensburg and help rebuild that entire town.

132. He deserves it, just like any other star who thinks they are above the law. It just goes to show you people can be truly phony on TV, preaching one thing and doing another. The point is he may have regretted it, but he shouldn't have put someone else's life in jeopardy in the first place.

133. This time nobody died. What about next time Ty? You should check yourself into rehab before you do kill someone accidently on purpose next time!! You're the perfect example of an accident bound to happen for real one of these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

134. I can't believe how many people here are so quick to defend him to the end. Let me just say that about a year ago, Ty and his crew were in my hometown doing a makeover. They happened to be staying at the hotel where I work as a bartender. Let me tell you folks, he and his crew were in the bar EVERY night knocking them back. While THAT time, he didn't have to drive anywhere, it was of no surprise to me that he was arrested for a DUI. But with that being said, he IS a nice guy.

135. Just goes to show you that fame, fortune and wealth, although undoubtely with their merts, do not automatically mean a life of stability and happiness.
