Governator Has Plans for Paris??!!!

A petition is circulating that begs California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris Hilton.
Paris and Arnold
TMZ placed several calls this morning to the Guv's office. The first person we spoke with said there were "rumblings" about the petition in the office, but he wouldn't be more specific.

We then spoke with someone else who said she'd get back to us. We then asked if that meant the Governor had Paris plans. She giggled and said, "maybe."

We love Kalieforneeya!!!

BUT WAIT! Just as we were about to publish the article (finger literally on the button), TMZ got a callback from the Guv's Press Secretary, Aaron McLear, who said that Arnold's office is prepared to give Hilton a fair shake! McLear told TMZ the office is prepared to treat Hilton's request "no differently than any other request filed to the Governor's office." McLear added the Governor only acts in "extraordinary circumstances." We asked if Paris qualified -- all we got was a laugh.

So far, they haven't received the petition, asking people to "sihn" (sic) in support of Paris.

While word of Paris' pardon has made its way throughout cyberspace and all over mainstream news, McLear said that he's not sure if Schwarzenegger himself is aware of Paris' plight, but he did admit that Arnold's "staff members certainly are."

79. I wonder what her VERY HARD WORKING Great-grandparents are thinking about this waste of a grand-daughter from their graves? To build such a empire from nothing and for your family line to produce this thing they call Paris to come in and make them all look like fools.
Talk about ashamed! They must be turning in their graves! Maybe if she put half her energy into helping with the family business she might find it more dignified then making sex tapes.

81. "Point is, she killed NO ONE" - by whatajoke
No, the point is she endangered the safety of innocent, law abiding citizens. Broke the law multiple times and was treated with more lenient punishment than you could get (being that your parents didn't start a successful hotel business). What is ABSURD is that you think the end-result (that nobody was hurt, more than likely because she was pulled over and arrested before she actually wrecked another vehicle, possibly killing many including her own self) is justification for breaking the laws in the first place. Where did you get your education, California public school? I wouldn't doubt that at all... As for "Tell me one person that went to jail for this and back it up.....", the sentencing of others that have been arrested for DWI/DUI does not give Paris H. a "Get Out of Jail Free Card". In other words, its irrelevant.
"Leave the girl alone and put real criminals in jail! FREE PARIS!!!" - by Kim
She is not a girl but a baby in a somewhat female body. As for O.J.'s case, his attorneys played the race card along with the glove doesn't fit bull to get him free. Paris did commit a "real" crime, but you are too ignorant to care about that (Why do you kiss her ass anyway? She wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire, where's the girl power loyalty?)

I "sihn"ed the Keep the Law Just Petition (lock her up).

82. whatajoke, OBVIOUSLY having her license SUSPENDED worked. Let's just give take away her license for a year, even though she can't seem to understand the whole concept. Yeah, that seems like it would work.

Just send her out here to Arizona. Sherriff Joe can sort her out in the tents. She would look so good in the pink jumpsuit!

84. If Schwarzenegger pardons her, any Californian who has done jail time because of similar circumstances should sue the state BIG TIME.

85. Guys - when considering that Michelle Rodriquez didn't have to spend one night in jail, I really think that Paris won't either. Which SUCKS because ANYONE ELSE would be forced to do so. But...the Hilton team will say this is a 'safety' issue for their precious daughter and will threaten MASSIVE lawsuits against the state of California if Paris even remotely encounters a questionable situation in terms of safety. Sorry, but I'm sure that jail cell is just waiting for her to walk through those doors so they can be the famous bulldyke to POUNCE PARIS' BONY BUTT while Paris was in the jug. That jail will be a freaking circus if they let her through those doors, and the Hilton family knows it. And I bet the Governor knows it too, and that county jail doesn't have the human resources available (much less any that care) to protect her the way the law says she should be expected to be protected while incarcerated. Spin = safety issues. Reality = big $$$ to Ahnuld from the Hiltons. In other words, MAKE THIS SITUATION GO AWAY.

I know, I hate it too! And there should be public outrage. But this is the reality, in my opinion.

86. Paris, Honey we all feel your pain 45 days is just plain over the top. If I had MY way you'd be doing 90 or 180 days think of it that amount of time without having see your skanky no good self.

87. Maybe she'll be like the next Tookie Williams...Oh wait Arnold had him Killed

88. I agree that a lot of other people have done this and worst and have not been jailed. But that is no excuse. If every person you knew were abusing their kids and getting away with it, does that mean its ok for you to do it?

She had a chance to remain free. But she thumbed her nose at it. Now she has to do her time. She should be held accountable for once in her life!

When we get to St Peter, money and fame won't matter. Its what we do with our lives that really counts. And i don't think the best choice is partying and going pantyless! There has to be more!

89. Yes let's not for get that was driving impaired and could have killed someone or herslef, enough is cenough, baltent disregard for authority, brandy killed someone driving under the influence, Paris should ask her how she feels about herslef, whether she would have rather served 45 days orlived iwht this guilt no to mention the lawsuits coming at her.
