Celebrity Justice
Governator Has Plans for Paris??!!!

A petition is circulating that begs California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris Hilton.
Paris and Arnold
TMZ placed several calls this morning to the Guv's office. The first person we spoke with said there were "rumblings" about the petition in the office, but he wouldn't be more specific.

We then spoke with someone else who said she'd get back to us. We then asked if that meant the Governor had Paris plans. She giggled and said, "maybe."

We love Kalieforneeya!!!

BUT WAIT! Just as we were about to publish the article (finger literally on the button), TMZ got a callback from the Guv's Press Secretary, Aaron McLear, who said that Arnold's office is prepared to give Hilton a fair shake! McLear told TMZ the office is prepared to treat Hilton's request "no differently than any other request filed to the Governor's office." McLear added the Governor only acts in "extraordinary circumstances." We asked if Paris qualified -- all we got was a laugh.

So far, they haven't received the petition, asking people to "sihn" (sic) in support of Paris.

While word of Paris' pardon has made its way throughout cyberspace and all over mainstream news, McLear said that he's not sure if Schwarzenegger himself is aware of Paris' plight, but he did admit that Arnold's "staff members certainly are."

91. Dear Governor, Please do no let this "child" get away with not obeying the law. This country does not owe Paris Hilton anything. She should be thankful that she lives in such a great country as the USA. Every action should have a consequence especially when it has been ignored and when the directive has been set forth by the court. She had more than one warning so please don't let the young people of this country think that they don't have rules with which to live by. Her money should not be a criteria for special treatment from you. She should be treated just like the average person. Her punishment should be to live like some of us do. With less than $1,000.00 a month to live, like myself, she would see how some of us have to live. Maybe she would like to give me her car while she is in jail. Mine is 10 years old and when it dies there isn't enough money for another one. Live like that Paris.

92. Paris should just suck it up and go to jail like a normal civilian would in her situation. Just because you have fame, money and power, doesnt mean you are entitled to break the law at your own convenience.

We ,"normal" people are sick of her strutting her stuff in the media like shes gods gift to the world. someone needs to put this bitch on the lockdown and let her experience the reality of life.

she should be put in jail for more than 45 days. i vote at least 6 months. i am sick of seeing her ugly face all over the media

93. Just exactly what does Paris think is fair? She has been warned and did not heed the warning. What can a judge do. Maybe if time is taken out of the (Hum) busy schedule it will leave an impression on her and she will think twice about ignoring the law. A pardon will do more harm than good. It would just re-enforce her being able to talk, cry, kick and scream her way out of any situation. She has been lucky so far. She has not taken another life when she has gotten behind the wheel, driving drunk. If she is granted a pardon and goes out there drives drunk again and takes an innocent life, will that leave an impression with Paris, I think not.

94. Arnold is not that stupid. He has his eye on running for Senate in 2010. If he were to pardon that slag, it would mean the end of his politcal carrier.

Hmmmm? Maybe I should write him and tell him TO pardon her!

95. I sure hope he doesn't grant her a pardon. Paris Hilton's mother is not only enabling Paris' behavior, she's perpetuating it. I read where her mother told a London newspaper, "She's eccentric, she's herself and she never hurts anybody," ...yeah...YET! That is the whole idea behind her punishment. To teach her that breaking the law is wrong because she could end up harming other people! Why doesn't her mother get that?

96. Wouldn't be politically prudent for Arnold to pardon her.

97. As someone with one of the mundane lives referred to in the petition, I can say that seeing this vapid flake go to jail would bring me more excitement than anything else she's ever done. As Paris herself might say, that would be HOT.

99. Okay, that is a bunch of BS if she gets off! Everyday Joe Blow wouldn't! Our government and juducial system should all be kicked out of office is they let a Celebrity (ball player, actor, other govt offical, etc) get off because of their status!

100. If this were me, I would have been escorted from Court to jail, and certainly would not have all this press. There has to be other news more worthy of print than this. She is not that important, and certainly has accomplished nothing of relevance in her life to earn this publicity. People would be a lot more supportive of her if she admitted she was wrong, was remorseful, and thanked God she didn't hit a child or anyone else while driving drunk. Instead she wines and blames others for her actions. Paris needs to concentrate on respecting herself and then others will follow. Bella

101. I swear, if he pardons her, all hell WILL break loose. Just because she is a Hilton, doesn't mean that she can not pay for her sins. I mean, she says that she was treated unfairly, but she was on probation and if anyone else was on probation, then they would have to pay, why not her!

102. I voted for this guy, and I actually thought it would be a good idea to amend the rules so one day he could possibly run for Prez.....But if her pardon's her, he is guaranteed that he will never hold an elected office again. Not in California that is!!!!!

103. I thought Paris liked the bars!?! Ignorance of the law is no excuse. It is about time she is held responsible for her actions.

105. I am praying for you Paris.
No jail time for you.
You are an overworked woman.
You do not deserve to go to jail.
