Governator Has Plans for Paris??!!!

A petition is circulating that begs California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris Hilton.
Paris and Arnold
TMZ placed several calls this morning to the Guv's office. The first person we spoke with said there were "rumblings" about the petition in the office, but he wouldn't be more specific.

We then spoke with someone else who said she'd get back to us. We then asked if that meant the Governor had Paris plans. She giggled and said, "maybe."

We love Kalieforneeya!!!

BUT WAIT! Just as we were about to publish the article (finger literally on the button), TMZ got a callback from the Guv's Press Secretary, Aaron McLear, who said that Arnold's office is prepared to give Hilton a fair shake! McLear told TMZ the office is prepared to treat Hilton's request "no differently than any other request filed to the Governor's office." McLear added the Governor only acts in "extraordinary circumstances." We asked if Paris qualified -- all we got was a laugh.

So far, they haven't received the petition, asking people to "sihn" (sic) in support of Paris.

While word of Paris' pardon has made its way throughout cyberspace and all over mainstream news, McLear said that he's not sure if Schwarzenegger himself is aware of Paris' plight, but he did admit that Arnold's "staff members certainly are."

106. Wow. If this goes through, I really see all hell breaking loose. Absolutely obscene and a complete waste of taxpayers money. One thing that I think is pretty stupid is all her fans saying "but she didn't kill anyone!" So is that what it would take? Her to kill someone because of her choices (unless her publicist shoved her behind the wheel and held a gun to her head, I can see her crying about that happening just to avoid taking responsibility). She is not in this situation because of her initial dui charge. She is in this situation because she thought that she was above getting in trouble after she was given a second chance (probation), now its coming back to bite her in the ***. Celebrity (due to talent or not, in her case, not) is no excuse to be able to do whatever you want with no consequences.

107. This is gross. The Hilton clan will try to bribe the governor with campaign donations if he pardons their narcissistic, pea brain daughter who lives above the law. He will lose the popular vote on his next campaign trail if he pardons her.

108. If that comes to pass, then God bless us all. Who the hell does she think she is? She's a major jerk-off pampered up the kazoo all her life by a sicko mother and now she wants the laws bent for her? What nerve.

109. Revoke her license for a year ? She drove on a suspended license repeatedly, so what difference will it make. She did not enroll on her alcohol education class either as required. Obviously, she responds only to severe punishment.
Throw her in the slammer !!!

112. Hmmmm......
Arnold's past problems, and Paris' present problems.... Hmmmmmmm
Yep, they might strike a deal!!!!

113. The Arnold worked hard to become who he is if you like him or not. He will not let a little girl who has been on the NY party circuit since she was twelve ignore traffic laws.

114. Logical reasoning

You need some Valium, you are getting too worked up over this.

115. I do not think that the Gov. will pardon Ms. Hilton. She just needs to do her time and keep her mouth shut. The sad part is that after her 39 days are up (shortened because of good behavior credit) she will probably forget her experience and continue to be the same spoiled snobb she has always been. Though I would not wish jail time a=on anyone, it is such a waste of time and tax payers money if nothing positive comes out tof this situation. I think she should have to pay her own way through jail and see how that feels.

116. What kind of example will this set for the Gov. if her decides to do this, I am so sick and tired of these celebrities thinking they are GOD! They are no better than anyone else and someone has got to start making them take responsibility for their actions, for goodness sake they have all the money in the world, why don't they hire a driver? They are SO STUPID. Why do we even have a court system if they flaunt their money and get their way out of trouble every time. This is getting old.

Can you part with some of your dope? I hate that your sister Anna Nicole Smith overdosed on your supply, what a shame.

119. Not only does she need to go to jail, she needs to be in general public so she can see what real jail is like.
I am sick of celebrities getting special treatment, when will the world realize they are F*&K up's and spoiled children who feel they are above it all.
Thank GOD for TMZ and other sites like it. It is my quick link to have a good laugh when I am having a bad day or think my life is crap. When I read about all the drama I realize I would not trade a day of my non celebrity life for their pathetic ones.

120. I think Paris could really turn her image around if the governator tried to pardon her and she denied it and requested just a reduced sentence, stating that she needs to pay the price for what she's done.
amirite?
