Paris and Elliot Mintz Back in Business

Paris Hilton didn't last more than a couple days without her mainstay publicist and trusted advisor Elliot Mintz by her side, and the quickly reconciled pair stepped out last night outside of chez Hilton.

It appears that Paris taught Mintz one of her favorite moves -- the time-honored cell-phone-as-paparazzi-avoidance technique -- demonstrated here to perfection by Mintz.

It's been a tumultuous five days for Hilton and Mintz. In court Friday, Paris blamed the PR guru for misinforming her about her suspended license, then the judge called Elliot's testimony "worthless." Then, the pair announced a separation, briefly ending one of the most visible publicist-client relationships in all of celebdumb, er, celebdom.

But today, Mintz tells TMZ that he and Paris "met last evening and agreed to continue our professional relationship ... I shall continue to respect and support her as her media rep and friend." It's hard out here for a Mintz!

16. its soooooo obvious how this whole thing went down. Now, since she didnt get a pass on jail by using her scapegoat (Mintz) she is now circulating a petition to ask the Guv for a pardon. Dont waste his time because Arnold is a very strict person in life and I dont believe he will cave to an irresponsible rich brat who cant step up to the plate and take responsibility.

18. I knew this was going to happen. She made her spin doctor mouthpiece fall on his sword, to try to get her out of her jail sentence (which didn't work; the judge called his testimony "worthless"). Now that they've played their little dog & pony show for the judge & press, and it didn't help, they're working together again. As if they had any other plans.

What a useless, empty headed, moronic, insipid pair of idiots. They deserve each other...l

19. THIS IS PATHETIC!!!

Maybe Kathy was talking about the BIRDBRAIN SCHEME to blame everything on the publicist and all is forgiven..

SOMEONE FORGOT TO TELL THOSE RICH IDIOTS - THIS ISN'T THE ENQUIRER, IT'S COURT AND THAT'S A JUDGE, NOT THE GIRL FROM ACCESS HOLLYWOOD!

22. Mintz didn't do a very good on the witness stand in Paris's defence. " I do not recall" "I do not remember" yet seemed to remember just fine in his statement to the press days after. " Yes, I did tell her that, it was all my fault ! "

Poor Mintz, Just doing another one of those jobs Americans won't do?

23. Paris

Just because you are famous and got money doesn't mean you can get away with it or get out of trouble. Its time to stop being so childish and start acting like an adult by taking responsibilty for your actions. Famous or wealthy people should not get any special treatments. They should be treated equally just like everyone else. Just remember, we all make mistakes too not just you and there's nothing wrong with coming forward to admit your mistake. Just grow up and do the right thing. Thats should help the kids to learn something from it especially your own kids if you ever have one someday. Think about it.

24. i dont think anyone over at the paris camp knows what they are doing...and their recent break-up-make-up stint is proof of that. so for now, their strategy is to keep-up the idiot act and side-show endeavors i.e,petition to governor. PALEEEZE!

26. Paris, your judge deserves kudos, You are no better than any other drunk, yes, darling wealthy people can become disgusting drunks just like anyone else, but i think you should have been sentenced to L,A, COUNTY Jail to general population like other DUI reciepients, no darling, you are not special ,no matter what you have in your wallet or your bank account, If you do the crime, you do the time, so stop blubbering like a spoiled BRAT and take resposibility for your actions, you just might learn something. You could have killed some innocent people by your decision to drive DRUNK.

28. Paris thinks that she got it hard! She is an ordinary person like we all are. She needs to face her consequences. She's not a little girl anymore and needs to learn how to be and act responsible. She knows if her license is suspended that she shouldn't be driving. She knew what she was doing. Just because she's a celebrity doesn't make her higher than anyone above. Why should she get it away with it? It'll cause a frenzy if she does get away with it. It'll also let people slide with that case go out the door as well. And she says that she's a great role model? Look at what's she's doing! Stop being a baby and grow up. Not Mommy and Daddy can always cover your tracks. We pay for our suspended license and we learn from it so should she. Poor girl cannot be on a cover of a magazine for 1 day. So sad.

29. Seriously I can't stand Paris Hilton. She is no talent moron, but jail for 45 days? It is a harsh sentence. She will be a target for violence and abuse. No matter how annoying the person is, I can't see a jail sentence like that being justified for what she did. At least allow her to have a house arrest.
