Paris Hilton could break out of her 45-day jail sentence six days ahead of schedule -- but only if she's on her best behavior. In other words, she MUST serve 39 days minimum, and there's no way out earlier.
TMZ has learned that Hilton is eligible for a "Good Time/Work Time" credit, a federal mandate which offers a chance to leave the joint early -- for inmates sentenced to 11 days or more. According to the mandate, every four days that an inmate spends behind bars "in an acceptable manner" will count as six. So, as long as Paris doesn't smuggle in a BlackBerry or stab a fellow inmate with a shank carved from a bar of soap -- she should be back at Hyde after just 39 orange jumpsuit-clad days!
Another way Hilton could be released sooner is if the jails became overcrowded in a short period of time due to a special circumstance, like a giant city-wide riot. A federal order would allow the most non-violent offenders to be released first to make room.
Police sources tell us that the Hollywood hills resident will enjoy a 24-person POD for "special needs inmates," and she'll be bunking with a fellow convict. Finally, being a socialite comes in handy!
The judge has ordered that the celebutante is to receive "no alternative sentencing," which means no work furlough, no home detention, and no city jail programs. And you thought being an heiress was easy.

Come on people, Paris has been seen by reporters on camera getting behind the wheel after drinking. She uses fowl language and even on the Simple life she and Nicole have been seen distructing property. These girls are using the media for negative publicity. Paris has shown our young people how to make x rated videos, disrespect our laws, our parents and those children who watch this will think they too can do this without consequences for their actions. I say thank the lord for judges who do their jobs as they make a vow to do.
If Paris is not punished for breaking the law and taught to respect and keep our driving laws she may end up dead. From the response of her mother I understand why she is like she is.
I say Ban the Hilton Hotels. If they don't respect the laws then will they respect their customers????

Ok, first of all TMZ, get your math straight. Two days credits for every four days served means she'll do 30 days. That's basic math. I'm surprised you don't own a calculator down there at TMZ. Also, when calculating time served you start counting from the first day of the sentence. Not sure where you guys started counting from or what math you were using.
Aside from that, I see a lot of comments saying she's going to jail for driving on a suspended license. That's not what she's going to jail for. She's going to jail for violating her probation. There are thousands of people in jail right now in California who are in there for the exact same thing. People violate their probation every day and people go to jail for it. Paris should not get special treatment because of who she is. She should do the time like every other citizen of this state in her situation. It might seem like she's being picked on but she is actually getting the same treatment as anybody else who violated her probation not once, but twice. Learn the legal system before criticizing it everybody!!!!!

The fact that she is not already in jail is an outrage. Just because someone is a socialite and has money they should not be above the law.
