Paris WILL Do the Time

Paris HiltonParis Hilton could break out of her 45-day jail sentence six days ahead of schedule -- but only if she's on her best behavior. In other words, she MUST serve 39 days minimum, and there's no way out earlier.

TMZ has learned that Hilton is eligible for a "Good Time/Work Time" credit, a federal mandate which offers a chance to leave the joint early -- for inmates sentenced to 11 days or more. According to the mandate, every four days that an inmate spends behind bars "in an acceptable manner" will count as six. So, as long as Paris doesn't smuggle in a BlackBerry or stab a fellow inmate with a shank carved from a bar of soap -- she should be back at Hyde after just 39 orange jumpsuit-clad days!

Another way Hilton could be released sooner is if the jails became overcrowded in a short period of time due to a special circumstance, like a giant city-wide riot. A federal order would allow the most non-violent offenders to be released first to make room.

Police sources tell us that the Hollywood hills resident will enjoy a 24-person POD for "special needs inmates," and she'll be bunking with a fellow convict. Finally, being a socialite comes in handy!

The judge has ordered that the celebutante is to receive "no alternative sentencing," which means no work furlough, no home detention, and no city jail programs. And you thought being an heiress was easy.

Martha Stewart did her time with class. Let's see what happens to this pampered child. I was taught that a car is the same as a loaded gun. When you drive impaired, you could kill yourself and worse, someone else and have to live with that the rest of your life. Back in the day "entertainment persons" were kept under wraps. How special to see these less than entertaining persons air their laundry (would that be underpants?) in public. Opie and Anthony suggested using security camera film from prison as a reality show. That might perk up this publicity seeker. Paris Live and in Jail.

And if you don't think this is all just a publicity stunt your not so bright either! The charges are realy...the cry baby act is getting all the attention....what else is new? The girl is a spoiled brat. "I don't read my mail, someone reads it for me" is not an excuse to ignore the law.

I can't believe this. She should be made to serve the entire sentence. She got off easy in the first place with only 45 days when it should have been 90.
She will never learn and will be back doing the same thing as before. I just pray that the next time she doesn't hurt someone in the process.

Paris. Paris, Honey, are you listening? Believe me, no one knows what will unfold down the road. Save your request for a pardon from the Governor! Don't waste it on this.

I'm a mom of two teenagers. We live pay check to pay check and are forced to be in reality. Now tell me which one of us having got a DUI and got caught driving would'nt go to jail?Further more how do you get a lisecnse without knowing the law.UNREAL.She most definitly is a victim. Her mother raised her to be vaulued for nothing more then being cute and relying on a rich man just like she did.

I hope she is forced for once to takre responsiblity for her actions.I have good kids who would would'nt be bailed out or defended by me if they did something so incredibly stupid.

Well, at least this time she was convicted before she got sent off to jail. And even if the conditions are exactly as stated on this site, it is way better than CEDU and Ascent Wilderness where she was locked up as a teen.

If every four days served "in an acceptable manner" counts as six, then the time served would be thirty days not thirty-nine.

What #11 fails to understand is the following. She isn't being jailed for a suspended license, she's being jailed for breaking her probation. Ms. Hilton made a plea bargain to keep herself out of jail for DUI, the bargain was more than fair and more than either you or I would get in the same situation for DUI.

She served no community service, she failed to sign up for the court mandated alcohol classes, she was WARNED about driving with a suspended license and then she drove again.

Honestly, this is not a "Poor Paris" moment. She got a fair bargain to start out with, the deal with a bargain is though, you need to actually stick to it.

Who does she really think she is? She broke the law. End of conversation. The law is the law and for any of us "normal people" we would already be in jail, no questions asked.
