Celebrity Justice
Paris WILL Do the Time

Paris HiltonParis Hilton could break out of her 45-day jail sentence six days ahead of schedule -- but only if she's on her best behavior. In other words, she MUST serve 39 days minimum, and there's no way out earlier.

TMZ has learned that Hilton is eligible for a "Good Time/Work Time" credit, a federal mandate which offers a chance to leave the joint early -- for inmates sentenced to 11 days or more. According to the mandate, every four days that an inmate spends behind bars "in an acceptable manner" will count as six. So, as long as Paris doesn't smuggle in a BlackBerry or stab a fellow inmate with a shank carved from a bar of soap -- she should be back at Hyde after just 39 orange jumpsuit-clad days!

Another way Hilton could be released sooner is if the jails became overcrowded in a short period of time due to a special circumstance, like a giant city-wide riot. A federal order would allow the most non-violent offenders to be released first to make room.

Police sources tell us that the Hollywood hills resident will enjoy a 24-person POD for "special needs inmates," and she'll be bunking with a fellow convict. Finally, being a socialite comes in handy!

The judge has ordered that the celebutante is to receive "no alternative sentencing," which means no work furlough, no home detention, and no city jail programs. And you thought being an heiress was easy.

77. Yes, she definitely had poor judgement and should be accountable, but do we have to bash the heck out of her. I guess cause, Howards out of the limelight and Anna Nichole and Larry and anybody else and there is a need to bash someone. Hang in Paris.

78. "I understand Hilton will be in a special, secure, private section in prison for persons with 'celebrity' and not in the general population. She felt she could act and behave with impunity. Laws aren't made for her. She transcends the law."

If Paris thinks her celebrity and wealth makes her bigger than everyone else, jail will quickly cut this "giant" down to size. I'm simply glad it will happen before her drunken driving can injure or kill somebody.

Nobody is gonna kiss your flat ass Paris. Maybe you should go for a relaxing drive, take your mind off things...oooppss, silly me, you can't.

That is speculation. Of course anyone who hurts someone drinking and driving feels bad!

You could hurt someone drivng and not drinking, would you feel bad accusing people doing something before they did it!!

This is just the same type of media-hype that they make money on. She hasn't hurt anyone. I do believe she gives money to people sometimes when they ask her. She's also know for giving her autograph to most who ask for it. Did you know everytime she does that or poses for a picture that person makes money off her.

All these negative comments from people shows just how unhappy some Americans are and sites like these allow them a place to express their frustration and anger.

I'll bet if PH was willing to be your friend and allow you a piece of her life you'd be writing a different story. Most of this is jealously. She needs to learn to keep a lower profile and not flaunt her money so much. This has snowballed on her. Our media is the jury without the judge. Who needs the legal system when you have this. This is enough punishment. Personally I'd rather have 45 days in jail over all this nasty uncalled for ugliness. This is how people are spending their free time, this is how we entertain our selves.

82. WHO CARES ANYWAY!

83. She needs to suffer the consequences of her actions just like the rest of the society. I am so sick of these spoiled rich little bitches that are famous for doing absolutely nothing thinking they are above the law. After she serves her jail sentence, which she should absolutely be required to do, she should have to do community service in the real world. Sentence her to work in a homeless shelter, or a battered women's shelter for a few hundred hours. See if that doesn't knock the little bitch down off of her holier than though high horse!
As for you Momma Hilton, the only thing pathetic here is your parenting skills! The judge needs to throw your stupid rich bitch ass in jail right along side her for perpetuating this plague into our society.
The really sad thing is your stupid ass manages to draw so much media attention for no reason what so ever, celebrities that try to use their name and fortunes to do real humanitarian work go virtually unnoticed. George Clooney and Big & Rich calling attention to the genocide in Darfur, Madonna's work for the orphanages in Africa, Willie Nelson and the American Farmers, the countless celebrities that work for causes such as AIDS and Breast Cancer. If you had any sense of a moral compass, you could choose to make a huge contribution to society instead of being the plague that you are.
If the media thinks that they are catering to what the public wants to see by showing this garbage, then shame on us!

85. I'm kind of astonished at the massive immaturity she's displaying throughout all this...I mean, what exactly are her attorneys telling her? Her best defense was, "I don't read what I sign"? What the hell kind of defense is that? Anyone else would have been laughed at and remanded into custody. And now it's, "Sihn my online petition, i love you guys"? WTF? Is this girl 26 or 16? Since when do online petitions run the legal system?? (And, on a side note, if this really mattered to her, wouldn't she at least show enough respect for herself and her fans to spell "sign" correctly?) I know we all love to bash Paris, but the truth is none of us really know her...but seriously, I'm beginning to suspect she's borderline retarded. For those who are envious of her wealth and privilege (me included, although that's the ONLY thing about her I would want!), think about it...if this is what that gets you, maybe we're really better off where we are! I had thought maybe the dumb blonde thing was a calculated act, but now it looks like she really is that stupid after all.

88. I hope to god that paris hilton becomes somebodies b!tch. That just may give her the wake up call that she deserves. She will learn that when you do the crim you do the time. No madder how rich a person is or can be.

89. I think the behavior of her mother in court proves where Paris got her way of thinking. Like mother like daughter. Sorry Mommy, you can't get her out of this one. Your fault for raising her in a fantasy world. Did you ever say no to Paris????

90. I read in an article this morning that there's a petition being sent to Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon miss priss. What makes her think she is any better than anyone else. Just because she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth doesn't make her above the law. If that had been a child of people that work hard everyday just to give there kids what they need, there would be no question that they would sit out the 45 days. She's not a child, she's a grown woman with choices. She choose to say I'm Paris Hilton and the laws don't apply to me because I'm rich. I think this happens way to often and just because their celebs that doesn't excuse their behavior. Maybe if the courts started making an example out of all the rich & celebs. There might not be so many problems with the young kids thinking that if they can get away with it, why can't I. Maybe sitting out 45 days will teach her a little humility.
