Sizemore Busted for Crystal Meth -- AGAIN!

"Black Hawk Down" star Tom Sizemore is back behind bars today after cops say the actor had been using crystal meth outside of a hotel in Bakersfield, Calif.

Sizemore, who is currently on probation for another drug rap in 2004, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning after an associate allegedly tried to fight an employee outside the Four Points Sheraton hotel. The associate, Jason Salcido, was also arrested. Cops say Salcido was carrying a "narcotic smoking pipe" at the time of the bust.

A search of the 2004 Ford Mustang that Sizemore was sitting in during the arrest allegedly yielded two bags of meth and pipes.

According to police sources, Sizemore was booked at the Kern County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Bail has been set at $14,000.

61. Sounds like Sizemore was having a bad day -- talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time....and oops, doing the wrong thing.

Strike one: he gets busted before on drugs. Ends up in jail, but keeps his day job.
Strike two: he gets busted again, but will he make it as a comeback meth-od actor?

What is it with so many actors using drugs and abusing alcohol? It's like the junkie quiz of the day. Put in an actor's name and you win the door prize.

62. How sad that he's not able to overcome his addiction - he's had so many chances to rehabilitate himself & revive his career as I did enjoy the body of work he accomplished before it all went to hell. Meth is the devil drug, too many lives and families have been destroyed by it. Death To All Meth Makers & Dealers!! I hope they burn in Hell!

63. 8. I do not understand why anyone would EVER try any drug for the first time, knowing it's highly addictive. Do they honestly think they will NOT get hooked? Why don't people THINK before doing any drug, while their mind is clear? Can't have sympathy for any of 'em. They made the choice, now they pay the price!

To bad Irene you don't have sympathy for someone who I'm sure Didn't think he would get hooked. Bet you are hooked on something, everyone is hooked on something! Could be candy, cokes, overeating, cigarettes, diet Dr.Peppers, it's out there. Meth just happens to be the worst of the worst. Something we love to do is the hardest to let go of. I hope he finds his way back in life and becomes the actor he once was and I'm sure wants to be again. We need more understanding and rehab's for the people who can't afford it for starters, a better justice system, quit throwing them in jail ,instead throw them in a good rehab for two years and more education in our school systems of this awful drug before they get started on it.

64. I always thought he would have made a good Tony Soprano or rival.

65. I have sympathy and admiration for people who work hard everyday - for the rest of their lives in recovery from addictions, such as drugs and alcohol, who "walk their talk" like some of my close friends who I respect.

I don't have any sympathy for those who chose to continue their addictions. They have a choice just like those in recovery - to pick up a drink or a drug or to not pick it up again. If they can't do it on their own, they can ask for help. And there is a hell of a lot more help available for all types of addictions today then there use to be when people still went into recovery any way they could. Sizemore is an adult, if he really wanted to stop his addiction, he would. And actors get no more sympathy from me on this issue then regular people, except I've noticed a lot of them get a slap on the wrist.

66. Sizemore a lost cause! He's lucky he is not dead. He's a meth freak!

67. Is there some type of link between great talent and self destructive behavior? This man is one of the all time great actors-did anyone else watch his reality series? His personality when sober seemed appealing. I can get over the fact that he chose to waste his life in this manner.

68. Ho Hum....another day, another celeb on drugs. "BREAKING NEWS" a celeb has been arrested for drugs....I'm so surprised! Comment #8-Irene asked why do they start? They are told that its cool and hip and if you don't do the clubs nightly, and drink and drug and drive that you are a geek. Wow, Hasselhoff really looked cool, didn't he? The interesting thing is that there are celebs who are seriously into charity, who don't club or drink or drug or assault or change sex partners every day. We just don't hear about them because they are geeks. The media still considers you cool if you have been to rehab, and are "bravely" living a relatively normal life. What a strange world we live in.

69. Crystan Meth is a nasty, nasty, nasty drug. Changes behaviour drastically. Violent. Never, ever touch it; Crystal Meth destroys lives, homes and bodies.
And I grew up in the sixties.

71. How sad.

72. Yeah that crystal meth is some nasty stuff. I grew up in the 60's also Jo ann. I never got into speed but remember some of the people I knew who did, it completely wasted them. Several went to jail eventually, but all of them looked about 20 years older than they should after a couple years. I agree there should be more tolerance for drug addicts, and more access to treatment rather than jail. Perhaps a really good treatment program while in jail. I think there are a few jails and prisons who have put together very effective drug programs and proved it works. I guess funding is the problem.

73. The Substance Abuse and Crime Prevention Act, also known as Proposition 36, was passed by 61% of California voters on November 7, 2000. This vote permanently changed state law to allow first- and second-time nonviolent, simple drug possession offenders the opportunity to receive substance abuse treatment instead of incarceration.
IT HAS BEEN A FAILURE. A new UCLA study released Nov. 26 reports higher arrest rates among drug offenders diverted to treatment during the first six months of California's Substance Abuse and Crime Prevention Act (SACPA), commonly known as Proposition 36. The findings show SACPA clients were 48 percent more likely to be arrested for a drug offense within a year of admission than clients entering treatment through other criminal justice diversion procedures, and 65 percent more likely than clients who report no criminal justice diversion to treatment. It would be in Tom Sizemore's best interest if he was remanded to custody an ordered to serve his previously suspended sentence of 16 months in state prison.

74. P.S. - Tom Sizemore failed (multiple times) to complete and remain clean after being given the opportunity to receive substance abuse treatment instead of jail.

75. He's not from white trash. He is the son of a history professor in Detroit. Get your facts straight. Although he's got a problem with the nastiest drug out there. Nasty nasty drug. That's what you get for hanging out in Bakers Field.
