Celebrity Justice
Slight Altar-ation in Paris/Church Story

A few newspaper websites are reporting that the judge who sentenced Paris Hilton did not get a standing ovation in church last Sunday.
Judge Sauer - Paris Hilton
They were right. Turns out the ovation was Saturday -- the day after Michael T. Sauer dropped the hammer on Hilton. Our bad, assuming people only go to church on Sunday.

According to several God-fearing witnesses, Judge Sauer went the day before, and as he walked in, the congregation erupted in applause. Several parishioners buttonholed the judge to express their approval.

Amen.

91. I think it's absolutely hilarious that the judge (who's a dis-interested nuetral 3rd party) would get an ovation for protecting us all by dropping the hammer on little miss cranky pants. Just goes to show you how much the pampered party poodle is disliked; I just don't know anyone who has anything good to say about her...

93. LOOK AT THE RESPONSE I GOT FROM GOV. ARNOLD'S OFFICE AFTER I WROTE PROTESTING ANY PARDONING OF HER SENTENCE:

"Thank you for contacting Governor Schwarzenegger regarding Paris Hilton. The
Governor always appreciates hearing from constituents on issues important to
them.

Although the Governor's office has not received a formal request for assistance
from Ms. Hilton, the Governor generally will not consider intervening in private
legal matters. While the Governor does have executive clemency power, Governor
Schwarzenegger will exercise his clemency power only in unusual or extraordinary
cases and generally after all judicial remedies have been exhausted.

On behalf of the Governor, thank you again for writing. An informed and engaged
citizenry is essential to a successful and responsive government.

Sincerely,

Patrick Campbell
Office of Constituent Affairs"

94. I am 26 years old, like Paris. If I behaved like Paris, my mother and father would disown me. If my mother behaved like Paris's mother, my dad and I would disown her. I've never heard of such narcissistic behavior like these two nitwits, Paris and Kathy. It must be a disease. I hope it's not incurable. They must be mentally ill. Hope they both get help before Paris kills someone while driving her car. It's insane that they can't face their own personality disorders and lies.

96. Tonight Nancy Grace played some tapes of Paris swearing at gays and black people. She acted crazy. It was not a pretty sight. Wonder what her parents would say about that? Oh, yeah, they wouldn't say anything because they are as crazy as she is. That family is as nutty as fruitcakes.

97. Per the LA TImes this story isn't true at all:'

The urban legends have already begun to crop up; celebrity gossip website TMZ.com, citing "sources inside," reported that Sauer received a standing ovation from his fellow congregants Sunday at St. Brendan Catholic Church.

"The church story is completely false," he said.

98. Good for him, and shame on all you ignorant people that think she shouldn't go to jail because she is "Paris Hilton"- She BROKE THE LAW. Get a freakin' clue. Just because she is pretty and rich and can take really great pictures doesn't mean that she shouldn't be punished like anyone else would for not paying attention.

102. This is to the posters who think she got a bad deal:

How would you feel if she was pardoned, and while drinking and driving on her way to the celebration party, she crashed into a vehicle being driven by the one you love the most, and that person was killed. Don't ever think it can't happen.
