3. Allyson -- why is Brooke "desperate" for work? She has always loved doing comedy. I doubt she's desperate for anything.
btw -- Paris is a loser. They're are soldiers nearly 7 years younger than her dying in Iraq and she's complaining about "cruel" punishment. She's such a douche.

6. Oh, Please. Paris Hilton's jail time will no doubt include a nicely compensated guard to make sure she gets whatever she wants, and care packages that haven't been rifled through by the wardens. It'll make Martha's term look like a chain gang. That entitled twerp deserves the sentence and then some. If she were poor she'd have gotten a longer sentence. Instead of fighting it, she should suck it up and use the time for self-improvement and to learn something - perhaps that even the disgustingly wealthy should be held accountable to the laws of the land in which they reside. Of course, she's been raised to believ, no doubt, that in her case there is no need for self improvement...

8. I like Brooke. she is beautiful and talented. Obviously someone taped her without her knowledge. Maybe that woman she was talking to. I find no fault with her parenting. Toddlers can do it to you! lol

13. I figured someone would be on here calling Brooke a bad parent. Parents aren't allowed to have a sense of humor or be amusing or let loose and be themselves. Now, what kind of example would that be for a child? I see all these parents who fret about everything and take everything so seriously and they think they are doing what is best for their child...but their child looks miserable because he or she is never allowed to have any fun. Funny thing is, people are always bashing celebrities for being bad parents, among other things, you people don't understand money doesn't buy perfection. Quit being jealous. Well while we are on the subject of Paris, she's the first celebrity to not get out of serious charges with a slap on the wrist, let's hope she's not the last. Mel Gibson, Eve, all of them...they're rich, so just paying a ticket is not going to hurt them. In order for it to be a punishment, it has to hurt.

Why is it that Britney Spears can go around being the queen of white trash and a role model for retoractive birth control and I've never read any sort of vitriol aimed at her like those comments about Brooke Shields? Can't she be forgiven for her own mother's bad choices with her young career? I think she's proven herself to be talented, intelligent and self-aware, and all this hatred aimed at her reeks of envy. She didn't choose her face or life for the most part. Give the poor woman a break. And humor is humor, but some people have no senses thereof.

15. I guess nobody gets that the video is scripted and she is acting. I bet you folks who think this represents "bad parenting" also believed the toddler landlord in the video with Will Ferrell was really a landlord. Now that video should be questioned - who would let a child learn that kind of language? That is a real example of bad parenting.
