Gabriel Byrne to Photog: Have a Seat, B*tch!

Gabriel ByrneFlying chairs, shattered camera equipment and a screaming celebrity -- just another night in Hollywood.

Photogs attempted to snap a few shots of "Usual Suspects" star Gabriel Byrne as he walked by hotspot Il Sole last night, when the actor responded -- by flinging furniture! A camera light was broken in the ensuing melee.

According to our photog at the scene, Byrne lost control as snappers clicked away outside of the restaurant, yelling, "Get that f**king camera out of my face!" Shortly after, Byrne "pushed" TMZ's female photographer, grabbed the light from her camera and slammed it to the ground, shattering pieces on the concrete. Our photog says that Byrne tried to retreat, but when he noticed another cameraman waiting behind him, he grabbed a chair from a nearby restaurant and flung it at the shutterbug!

The unseated Byrne then waited inside the eatery until the photogs left.

3. I don't blame him, it must be hard to try to go out to dinner and have all these stupid camera people all over you! The paparazzi needs to back off when they see an irate celebrity, usually the paps have caused this person to become totally irate in the first place.

9. You at TMZ are the hardest working and fastest growing gossip site there is. When about half the comments from YOUR OWN READERS think that you're going too far, how do you think the general public see you?

Lindsay, Paris and other celebutarts court attention, but you're pigs when you invade other people's private lives. As leaders in the gossip biz you should set a slightly better tone. If you can't then I hope you get more cameras busted.

How many eating establishments do you suppose are in and around LA?
My guess Is thousands.

Do these "stars" all live with in walking distance of the small handful of restaurants they frequent? ( lol do they have to walk?)

Finally, If there is a crowd of press at a (well known celebrity hangout) do you intentionaly strike out at the female photog in the crowd? Weak.

So the man got upset -- I would to if I was trying to eat peacefully-- there comes a time and place where the paps have to back down a bit.
