Paris -- Blame It on the Messenger?

TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton has seen a new lawyer in a desperate attempt to save her ass.

Hilton has already retained famed criminal defense lawyer Howard Weitzman. Yesterday, she met with celeb DUI lawyer Richard Hutton. TMZ spotted Hilton bawling as she drove away Hutton's office Tuesday afternoon, with mom Kathy driving -- and consoling -- her daughter.

Hilton is in a true pickle and it seems she's throwing a Hail Mary by going to Hutton, hoping she can convince the courts she shouldn't serve 45 days in the pokey. This could be the most expensive DUI case ever.

110. Oh, how I love to see her in this mess! Makes my day. Can't wait to see the pics of her reporting to jail, pics in the jumpsuit, no makeup, no cellphone, no SUV to drive her around. The hot summer in jail. Terrible food. She'll waste away...this will take YEARS of therapy for her to get over! I doubt if she'll serve the whole 45 days but even if it's a week or two, she'll be miserable. Hope the "girls" give her a hard time the entire stay! She deserves a good spankin'! Make her AS* red! Maybe she'll come out of it a lez!

117. come on paris suck it up and do your time in the county jail. just remember sweetie you could become someone's bitch if you don't watch out. but you should have gone to jail by all means the night you were pulled over for dui but i guess your money can buy you out of any situation can't it??? i think you deserve more than 45 days just for playing stupid and blaming your assistant. that poor man should sue you and your mother. another reason you need to do more than 45 days is because you're making a big deal over nothing you violated your probation and you need to be punished and you're not above the law regardless of what your mommy and daddy tell you. hollywood is just another town in america just more expensive taste that's it.
