Free Paris Protest Fizzles Big Time

Paris Hilton got a very public show of support this afternoon from some deeply concerned and passionate citizens of New York -- all three of them.

The well-publicized rally in Greenwich Village -- timed to coincide with New York University's graduation ceremonies -- fell just a little bit short of expectations, with just three protesters fighting the pro-Paris fight, calling her a victim and a martyr. They also carried signs saying "Ike Was Right -- Free Paris." Uh, that's Paris ... France, not Hilton, guys.

Our man on the scene noted an "Access Hollywood" reporter joked with other media types assembled for the action, "So you got all dressed up with nowhere to go." Sounds a little like Paris in a few short weeks.

81. some here take this stuff way to seriously and have way too much free time. I see political rambling, repetitive jumble, maybe in between the freak show a amusing or valid comment regarding the issue may pop up. It's like tryin to master Yoga in a juvinile detention center. To the offenders.....

82. Suzanne,
Let me guess - you hate Jews, blacks and anyone that disagrees with your beliefs, and wear a T-shirt saying White Power.
Your ranting is beyond ridiculous and truly pathetic. Historically, the garbage you're spewing is totally inaccurate and bigoted. Whoever has filled your head with this crap has a hate filled agenda and truth is clearly not a consideration if it gets in the way of promoting said agenda. If you came up with these crazy ideas on your own you need to do a lot of study and soul searching. Some time in prayer would also be helpful. God has much to say against hatred, and for love and forgiveness.

83. For those who think 45 days is too long, if she had an accident while driving illegally and maimed or killed someone their sentence would have been way more than her 45 days and they would have been totally innocent. We do not have laws for people to ignore. And as far as her not knowing, her butt was in that courtroom she heard the judge. If she was too dumb to understand what his sentence suspending her license was or that she attend rehab then she's too stupid to be behind the wheel of a car. If she's that dumb it's a wonder she can dress herself.

I live in LA and work in the legal community here. Governor Schwarznegger will not intervene. He has been very clear on that. She's allowed to request it but he's not going to honor that request.

Petitions and protests to "free" her are only doing more harm than good and making her more of a laughing stock than she really is. I can't believe that in a world at war this stuff is even of interest.

84. Incase you're interested in another stay at a Hilton!

*********************************************************************
Even staying at a pricey Hilton Hotel and sleeping on luxury linens doesn't guarantee freedom from being bitten by bed bugs. Soprano Alison Trainer slept at the Phoenix Hilton Suites between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26, and said she was bitten 150 times and traumatized by the bugs who shared her bed.
Trainer has sued Hilton Hotels Corp. for $6 million claiming it was a "horrific" experience that resulted in a fear of sleeping in a bed, caused her to lose weight and affected her physical appearance.
"She looks like a piece of wood that has been attacked by termites," Trainer's attorney, Kenneth J. Glassman, told the AP.

I agree with you.... The Govenor's office does not need the nonsense of 100,000+ faxes and e-mails to free Paris over a 45 friggen day sentence. Arnold has the next 3 weeks booked I'm sure - Paris you're plea isn't worthy!
