16. anna #12 - Perhaps because illegals are not American citizens. They are ILLEGALS.
If they keep their noses clean and don't break any laws, they don't get arrested.
Paris did, and thumbed her nose multiple times at the terms of her probation.
If an illegal did this and was caught, they'd probably do 45 days or MORE jail time as well.

17. Randy and Simon will say wahtever they think is popular opinion. I doubt either one of them have any idea about what is going on with Paris. They probably think she is a great singer. Is Paris signed under the RCA umbrella? Idol is in RCA's pocket, bigtime.

18. I'm so tired of people defending Paris. If it had been ANY run of the mill Joe, that was drunk driving and given 45 days of jail, everyone would have said "GOOD".
I'm tired of people with fame and fortune thinking that they are above the law...and they think this way because there are idiots out there supporting their bad behavior. I hope this judge get assigned to all the celebs! I hope she uses these 45 days to reflect on what she has done and to realize that fame and fortune can't get her out of everything...she made her bed, now lie in it!
And for all you ignorant people who are supporting Paris and saying that the rest of us are jealous...say that to the family of the person she kills the next time she decides to drive while drunk...she's lucky she's going to jail for a DUI and not manslaughter!
