To the "this was race motivated" people, you need to stop making these knee jerk reactionary statements; you obviously didn't read the story. Michael Jordan was also in the restaurant that night, and he was served with no problem. So, race is not the issue.

To the people making wild sweeping characterizations about people of all races, grow up. Everyone's an individual; everyone is different. Characterizing people you have not met with these broad brush stroke "this is how "they" are" statements is pre-emptive and downright stupid. One of the cool things about being here in the US is getting to meet people from different backgrounds & cultures. It definitely makes life interesting; there's nothing more boring than everyone being the same.

Finally, to the Nazi moron who's making all these statements about Jews, Blacks and all non-aryan peoples, this story is about OJ Simpson, a murderer, and one man's decision to not associate his place of business with this man, due to his reprehensible behavior. It has nothing to do with religions (judaism included) or races; try to focus next time & keep your comments on the story at hand. Also, regarding your silly comments, please read your history books. Sir - lots of people are upset at all the bastards who are free as a bird and their victims are either maimed, scarred for life, molested or dead. The problem is that the public is unable to have their voices heard by those who can do something about it, juries indulge in nullification and 100 other things can go wrong from the time the opening statement is given to final rebuttal in a closing arguement.

Sometimes the judges have lost control of the Court room, sometimes they never did have - or exude authority. Sometime Judges are every bit as stupid or asinine as some of the jurors are.

Jurisprudence had come a long way since the days of the Court of the Star Chamber to where one could reasonally expect justice back some 100 years ago. In the meantime defense lawyers have mocked justice and turned the administration of justice to complete disrepute.

That's what's happened along the way. Sad, huh?

The same justice system you guys were supporting when black ppl was complaining about it. Do you know how many black kids get sent to jail by your justice system everyday for things they did not do?! Do you know how many black ppl get the death penalty for things they did not do?! What a load of crap! I have been to quite a few of Jeff Ruby's establishments being from the area myself on many occasions. Maybe O.J.'s lawyer should visit Mr. Ruby's restaurant "The Precinct" located in Cincinnati before he starts throwing b.s. accusations. Immediately when you step into the lobby there are many framed photos on the walls of the so-called "racist" posing with many different celebrities & friends, a lot of them african-american (among other ethnicities). Not only that but he also employs african-americans. Doesn't sound too racist to me?
Seems that O.J.'s over-inflated ego just can't grasp that maybe people just aren't too fond of him as a person.

248. First of all, slavery was abolisted in 1865. Now they are trying to use another method to get some for nothing, hence the Goldmans should get a job and go to work and stop thinking that O.J owes them something. They also think he is a magician or they stood around and waited to get thier throats slit. Put away your racist attitude and get real! When Mr Ruby feels the silent boycot from blacks and whites , then he will know what it means to discriminate.
Mike Jordan probably did not know that O.J had been kicked out . I will bet you big bucks that he will not go there anymore.

It's about time people stop pampering him and start calling him out for what he is. A Murderer who had enough money to get by with it. They guys living better than most of us and should be on death row.

251. I don't understand. Why do so many blacks blame their problems on race? I'm so tired of it. We don't have a United White Peoples College Fund and if we did we would be called racist. White people don't get extra points on Civil Service exams because we are white. I could go on and on. Most black girls don't marry their childrens fathers and have mutiple fathers and live off welfare. The have better opportunities that white people nowdays.

I have many very good friends that are black and are good hard working people. It's the ones who get themselves into trouble that always use race to blame. The white people are not much better, they blame their bad parents.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe there is anyone alive today that was a slave. I don't feel I owe any black citizen anything special and they should not get any better treatment than myself. My great great grandfather fought for their freedom and walked so many hundreds of miles that he could never walk properly again. His career as a doctor was cut short as he could no longer make house calls and it was the late 1800's when doctors made house calls. I believe any debt owed to them was paid by the hundreds upon hundreds of killed and mamed Civil war soliders like my great great grandfather, and others who fought on the Union side of the Civil War for the freedom of blacks. They're all free now and everyone during that era is dead and gone! It's over. Let it go!!!

For goodness sake, get off the race kick and take responsibility for your actions Mr. O.J.!
