Now, let's get get back to what really matters instead of the "art of distraction."

What really matters - in my opinion:

- Mental & Behavioral Health Awareness & funding in America to remove the stigma so, folks can get the treatment/support they need and stop going postal on college campuses & at public/private schools, work places, malls, etc.. Big ups to Howie Mandel for your recent appearance on Capital Hill & to other organizations that are working heard to increase awareness on this subject..

- Ending the war in Iraq in the safest and with best diplomatic & political solution available at this point. It's not a question of whether concerned Americans support the troops. We do! Some of us (the majority of us) just do not support this gosh awful war that is killing, maiming our true heroes of this Land - our Service Men & Women who are returning home alive, but in worst condition physically & mentally than when they left.

- Proper funding for our Veterans & their families during and after their invaluable servitude to this great nation in the form of increased benefits, educational training & increased funding of programs that assist in their transition back to civilian life, etc..

- Increased funding of federal Veteran facilities like Walter Reid that are state of the Art like the privately funded Fisher Houses. Our troops & their families deserve the best care available & financial assistance that is available when they need medical attention/care. The families of our wounded soldiers need the red tape and bureaucratic crap/propaganda slashed so, they can get the immediate medical/financial help their loved ones need.. They are veterans for goodness sake..

-Increase of Educational funding of a plethora of programs so, we as a Nation can compete with the World when our children grow up. I plan to do more research on how I can support the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation as, they have designed a model that inspires hope in our children who are our true future and hold the leadership keys and possess the fertile soil for America's future stability and ability to be able to compete with foreign nations.
- Ensuring that the FDA gets their act together so, we can know that the food we eat is not poisoning us. We do not want to ingest unsafe food so, get it together FDA!

- Strong Energy Plan.

-Equal Pay for Women who are functioning in the same role as their male Cohorts in Corporate America or at the local grocery story..

- Obviously, the "Mission was not really Accomplished" so, we need to do everything we can as we prepare as a Nation for the '08 Presidential Campaign" to get someone competent in the oval office who can get the "Mission Accomplished." Regardless of your political affiliation. I honestly don't care and it is none of my business. All I am asking is that you register to vote so, your voice can be heard in '08.

33. Now, LJ that's funny. Little nightlife butterfly can serve her sentence in other facilities, IF SHE "PAYS" FOR THE IMPRISONMENT. Again, some rich people are sooooooooo dumb!!!! What a waste and a waste of money. Their PR people should tell the Hiltons to lay low, especially mommy and daddy. They are a public laughing stock.

All I've ever seen video of Paris doing is having sex on camera, partying hard and flashing her very flabby ass, being extremely bitchy to others, getting trash thrown at her, getting arrested for breaking the law, arriving 20 minutes late for court, and hanging her 26-year-old self out a car window while pretending to cry.

Am I missing something? Perhaps there's some charity she supports; some homeless shelter she visits ...

41. OMG !! this family is so far out there they all need to checked out for mental illness, they really think they are above the law. Never heard daddy Hilton speak, can this freak of nature talk??? I hope her parents cant produce any more sick,spoil ass kids to let loose on the world. 42. 20. I'm a Los Angeles attorney and although I am not an expert in appeal law, however, I'll offer my two cents worth from a legal prospective regarding her appeal. I do not believe she has any grounds to appeal the imposed jail term. The judge had the legal authority to impose the 45 day day sentance. However, her attorney may have grounds for an appeal base the portion of the ruling that requiers her to serve her time at the Lynwood facitity. I beleive that she could reasonable assert that other people have been allowed to serve at other facilities if they pay for the imprisonment. She could very well argue that she is not be treated with "equeal protection under the law" as many other defendants have been allowed to "pick their jail" if they may for the incarceration. She has been denied this opportunity without a legal basis as far as I can see and in this regard the appeals court could very well determine the trial judge has abused his discretion. It is my belief that she will serve her jail time, IMO 39 day, less 5 for good behavior) . She will more than likely serve her term at some jail at the foot of small town located at the foot of the Serria Nevada Mountains in northern California, as this seems to be the area people choice when they have the money to pay for their incarceration. Regardless, this will be no picnic for her.
