T.R. Knight Outs the Haters

TR Knight"Grey's Anatomy" star T.R. Knight reveals that not everyone was pleased with his decision to come out. Paging Isaiah Washington!

In a new interview in The Advocate, reports People magazine, Knight recounts how many friends were "beautifully supportive," while others warned him not to come out. Haters! "Don't do it now," they advised, afraid it might jeopardize his career. But, says Knight, "I could have not [spoken up]. I could have retreated. But I'm definitely happy I made the decision."

Knight was moved to publicly come out after fellow castmate Isaiah "McMeany" Washington was caught making homophobic slurs on set. Lovely. Washington has since attended gay-slur "rehab" for his comments, and relations on the set seem to have simmered down. Can you say ABC gag order?!

Knight first came out to People last October, saying "I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me."

favorite on Grey's and still are. Makes no matter to me if you are
gay or straight just stay on Grey's and entertain me with you heart

33. Washington repeated something that was none of his business. And Washington "acting "like he was Georges friend....Yeh right friends like that who needs enemys. Washington is really kissing the gay communutys ass now. Besides he is not a very good actor!

34. so how about if all you folks who supposedly "don't care" if someone is gay stop voting to deny people their equal rights ? ... and those of you who live in states where a gay person can still be denied housing ( !! ) and employment ( !! ) work to change those hateful laws, THEN i'll believe that you really don't care if someone is str8 or gay.

Those who travel down the hershey highway are gay. Gays should shut the heck up and quit being so flaming. GAys should just quit flaunting it. TR is a terrible actor and who gives a rat's a** if he is gay or if he used to be a she or if she used to be a he. Gays are queer

42. It is difficult watching him do love scenes with the two women knowing that he is gay. Possibly a new stroy line is needed for him.

43. This guy is not a GREAT actor, he is at best medicore. He does nothing special except to be an outspoken, feel sorry for me gay. I hope they write his part out of the show and they can write out Washinton too. I love the show but reading and hearing about their messed up lives is stupid. Heigl is gorgeous but if she wants to defend Knight, then she can go too. Addison can stay and the show will be just fine.

44. I thought that find out that TR Knight was gay would end my crush on him but it hasn't. He is so adorable, he still makes me horny....but it does make me sad knowing that there's absolutelyno chance he would ever bang me! LOL. Like I ever had a shot before....
