Patty Hearst Tells Paris' Cellmates -- Run for Cover!

OK, we here at TMZ are stoked. None other than Patty Hearst (if you don't know who she is, you should) contacted us today about a story the TV show "The Insider" is reportedly airing tomorrow -- that Hearst is giving advice to Paris Hilton about doing hard time. Hearst spoke with Harvey Levin today (it's 100% her), and here's her letter:

Dear TMZ,

Imagine my surprise upon learning of the "advice" I had been giving Paris Hilton. In spite of reports to the contrary, I can assure you that I have not had any contact with Paris (or any member of her family) regarding her upcoming jail time, or any other matter. Like Governor Schwarzenegger, I have had many more important things to think about.

mugshotsHowever, since I'm thinking about it now, I must say that my heart goes out to the inmates of the Century Regional Detention Center. Forty-five days with Paris Hilton and the attendant publicity seems like cruel and unusual punishment to me. Perhaps THEY should be petitioning the Governor for relief?

OK, that wasn't nice. But seriously, if Paris really wants my advice it's this: Read Candy Spelling's letter several times and take her advice to heart.

62. HEY PARIS READ GOOD ADVICEI never even thought of asking for a pardon when i was convicted of a DUI. The law is you don't drink and drive. She went on Ryan Seacrest's show and said "it was one margarita" .. I guess that makes it ok. No F... that. If i had to do the time you have to do the time. Guess what OH SPOILED ONE i did the full 45days which you won't do so stop crying. No one is going to beat you up so they can get more time away from their family's(cause guess what PARIS you get more time it jail for fighting and we all know you will be the biggest RAT in jail so no ones gonna touch you) So the worst thing you have to worry about in jail is not being seen with all your makeup. I hated it too so don't think i'm a hater. I hated it but if i didn't have parents that spolied me i wouldnt have been so shocked. I grew up in a wealthy home and my parents always protected me. Parents cant protect you from the law no matter how much $ they have. Trust me i learned that lesson when my father tried to pay for me to stay out of jail and the judge i got in my case.... his son was killed by a drunk driver. Drunk driver doesnt mean your drunk it means you have alcohol in your system. So what im saying is if you take a lick of alcohol you can be charged with a dui. I be horrified if the world knew i was THE BIGGEST SCAREDY CAT EVER. Face up take it like an aduldt stop crying. Trust in someone who know's.NO ONE FEEL'S BAD FOR YOU.
Did you see Sophia Bush say you deserved evey minute of it. Thats messed up. Let's see that slut go to the E.R. cause her ex-husband gave her V.D.. YEAH THAT HOO CANT KEEP A HUSBAND SO SHE WANTS TO HATE.
