63. It shoud be a case by case thing with the papararzzi. Reese lives a quiet life off of the pages unless she is promoting a movie. She never parades her kids around for show ,profit, has htem be interviewed and stuff. Door closed on stalking her with her kids lie thatphotographer did at Disneyland.


Sorry ,but if you parade your kids around, talk them up to the press, and put them out there, then the photographers should or can go after them. Why not? It you make the m celebrities, then they are. Some entertainers parade their kids out to public entertainment events, talk them up in interviews and put them out on the covers of mags-Britney Spears, Madonna, and some others I cannot think of.

There is no reason for this. She and others are OFF DUTY when they are with their children unless it's a work-related appearance. That would be an award appearance or a movie premier, NOT shoe shopping.

All she has to do is to have her nanny escort the kids and no one's gonna know-Reese knew or should have known that her kids would be a draw for the photographers, if she hasn't learned this she's not as smart as she has led everyone to believe. She was unable to keep her husband happy so there's got to be something lacking there.

I am so tired of these "stars" who claw their way to the top and are ever so happy to accept the benefits: millions of dollars, accolades the world over, luxurious free gifts and meals, easy access to the press to spout their world philosophies and/or promote their latest cause or upcoming movie, asking us all to be sure and go see them in it. They also pose, once primed and primped by the best stylests and makeup artists for photos for magazines, but do not want to put up with any of the negative aspects of their CHOSEN profession. All jobs have their downsides and annoying moments. If celebrities truly did not want to be in the limelight or bothered by photographers, then they could move away and use some of their millions to start a new profession---or even continue acting, but doing it only on Broadway, or off-Broadway, or even local dinner theaters. It would not take long at all for people to no longer be interested in ever taking their photograph.

With all of the true suffering going on in the world, it is sad that some celebrities, to whom much has been given, are so focused on themselves and how they are perceived, instead of thinking about how they could best help perhaps one or two other less fortunates. I saw Reese on Oprah one day whining about what a tough life she had because of the press. She has always promoted herself as being so intelligent, so I was surprised that she would come off as so self-absorbed and so ill-informed about the world outside of her own mansion.

And last but not least, as for her "poor" children being photographed, if this is the worst thing that ever happens to them, they should be on their knees thanking the Good Lord above. And some of these same photographers have caught moments of some of these celebrities' children in absolutely adorable pictures---pictures that are then published for the world to ooh and aah over, and for the celebrity themselves to enjoy and save. So, as John Stossel says, Give Me a Break!! Reese and her ilk will get NO sympathy for me. And jeez---did poor Ryan have to look at her face like that whenever she was angry with him?????

69. Her children will be seen. Big deal. She shouldn't make it a big deal.I'm sure that when she gets stressed about the press her children will learn to dread them. And, is that really good either? She and her Ex are in "Show Biz." Of course she could wrap herself and children into a big cocoon! I haven't seen TMZ hanging out in Brentwood "stalking" anyone lately at shoe stores! Shopping is not good private time for anyone I know.

72. I agree with Matt... I just don't see what the big deal is. I don't think I'd watch a Reese Witherspoon movie even if it meant I was getting some dome by some bomb ass chick at the end of it. She's gotta know though, that's the price of fame, man. You putting yourself out in front of millions FOR millions is going to have some SLIGHT issues.

Look at it like this, it's all documentation. If anything, her kids are safer with paparazzi taking pictures because if someone tried to come up and mug her or something, they'd have it on film.

73. Sorry, lollie (#67). These photos were taken in California, in an upscale suburb near Beverly Hills called Brentwood. Reese and her family have lived there for several years.

Back to the topic, Reese has been photographed for years by the paparazzi. She's typically smiling, at the very least pleasant to them. Her angry expression in this photo and others taken at the same time are due to her being insulted by the paparazzi. Whatever you think a celebrity must endure for fame shouldn't apply to their young children who don't have a say in the matter. Having your photo taken because you're a celebrity is one thing. Having insults tossed at you in public in order to get a negative reaction shot is another.
