It's never cool to wish death upon someone, but, man oh man, Jerry Falwell was so hateful and so bigoted and so very INtolerant - what would Jesus do indeed? - that it's not exactly sad to get that news. If Hell is filled with people who are roundly despised, then Jerry just found himself in a lot of hot water!

36. His heart was in the right place......He is in the right place, now.
He, I believe was a strong christian, BUT he caused battles rather than fighting the right battles.....He needed to do God's work in a quiet way, but he didn't. So rather than sharing the good word, he caused people to turn away.....Bad choice on his part....

37. I frequent TMZ several times a day and I was saddened at the distasteful post concern Rev. Jerry Falwell. I would expect it on blogger's like Perez Hilton.com. I don't know I just thought TMZ was better than that when it came to some form of respect to the recent dead (unless it was like saddam). That is my two cents worth anyway

38. Jerry Falwell was the worst kind of person becaue he sat in judgement of people as if he was God. -- We not need hate-mongers like him but I'm sure that many others will take his place. He lived a life of luxury and wealth... and was a waste of space on this earth.
