Ike Turner Arrest Bogus -- Holy Nutbush!!!

In a strange twist of fate, Ike Turner is finally going to be the one hearing the words, "Sorry baby."

TMZ has learned that the 75-year-old music legend was arrested last night in Los Angeles on a narcotic-related warrant that was issued and recalled in 1989! Four months after the warrant was originally issued for his arrest, a judge officially recalled it, but nobody ever passed the news onto the guy that was supposed clear it from the computer system. WHOOPS! As TMZ reported earlier, Ike was cuffed and jailed during a routine traffic stop, when cops ran his name through the system.

TMZ is currently at the Pasadena, Calif. courthouse where Ike is still in custody -- pending paperwork that will allow for his release!

16. Go get um Ike. I am from ST Louis and Ike is OK with me.
Really after Tina left Ike I never liked any of the music she put out.
They've always picked on him,and I hope he sues them real good.

And as far as Tina not as popular after getting away from this insane idiot....she had more hits than with Ike, and made millions......so Ike can stick that up his nose, and snort it!! Seems to me Ike is the one that didn't have much of a career after Tina got away. So it wasn't his song writing that made him. He is, was, and always will be a user, abuser, and wife beater!!! TINA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FOREVER.....

20. I am not a lawyer, but isn't a warrant only valid for 7 years.?
Unless it is a murder warrant, that is a lifetime warrant.

21. Conspiracy contribution > Sounds like someone ratted him out. Ike making some friends again. Took some digging to find a warrant that old and for that offense. It just didn't pop up on the computer at a traffic stop.
I guess we will soon find out, dont think ol Ike is gonna remain silent to much longer lol.

22. what, do all you people think this was a honest mistake , not clearing ike turner's warrant. the police proably did it on purpose, not clearing it. everyone knows what happens if you get pulled over.......yep, a trip downtown to finally clear your name...and maybe they didnt clear it for the same reasons....he is a wife beater and it made someone mad at the keyboard. just my theory.....thanks for listening....you just never know. don't ever underestimate what a person may do, or the extent they will go to to get someone back......i know its horrible but oh so true......have a great day....stay out of trouble....bye

25. Hey, I an't saying IkeTurner is a saint but you never hear anything except badmouthing about this guy. Muscially, he made Tina Turner the great star she is today. He wrote, arranged and performed several insturments on all their early stuff and being a mean sob or not, is greatly underapprecaited for his talent. Too bad that Ike, like so many others got caught up in the siren call of cocaine. Give this old man a break--I can still see in my minds eye Ike and Tina on American Bandstand in the 50's. Ike should be put on a stamp for gods sake and you pitiless critics should hang your heads in shame.
