Frederique: Beauty Is Only Needle Deep

Frederique van der WalEven supermodels need a little Hyaluronic acid face filler every now and again ... to make them feel pretty!

Former Victoria's Secret panty pimper Frederique van der Wal has put away the sexy lingerie and taken up the hypodermic needle as the cosmetically enhanced face of Restylane. According to the brochure, Restylane is a "dermal filler" (made of Hyaluronic acid!) "that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds." Pump up the jam!

Now you know why the 39-year-old Dutch beauty looks fresh, ageless -- and expressionless!

5. From Wikipedia:

Hyaluronan (also called hyaluronic acid or hyaluronate) is a non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout connective, epithelial, and neural tissues. It is one of the chief components of the extracellular matrix, contributes significantly to cell proliferation and migration, and may also be involved in the progression of some MALIGNANT TUMORS.

wow. That seems healthy.

8. isn't 39 a little young to be needing this stuff? isn't anyone concerned with the messages that are being sent to women? if you are doing this at 39 because you look old, what do you do at 59, throw yourself off a bridge and let the folks bury you?

9. Hey you kids, I just turned 58 and no one better bury me yet I am not ready!! Juvaderm is better than this restylyne. It is smoother and not as thick. This stuff is old. Bring on the botox. Botox rocks!!

12. 39?!?! She may well be able to pass for 39; and she is certainly a beautiful woman, but she is not 39. I don't know her exact age; however, my husband (who is also Dutch), knew her years ago & they are close to the same age. He is 52.

13. What a horrible thing to do to your face!

14. Restylane is a good alternative for those seeking non-surgical options that do not result in your chin being stretched higher than your forehead! Nothing permanent like botox.

Restylane
