Uuuuuuuumm.. I grew up in the same town where a guy named Eddie Paul worked on the General Lee cars. There were quite a few of them actually ( ! ) They use to sit there with broken axles.body damage,etc...Guess it's true... A sucker born every single minute !!!
If you do your research you will find that this particular car wasn't even in the show at all. I can't believe that he didn't hire someone to pre-qualify the bidders the first time around. Its a well known fact that there are alot of phony bidders on ebay, and the reason is that there is no legal ramifications to someone who does this with the bidding. The worst that ebay can do to you is take away your account.

A car, just like "anything" else, is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. And for those who continue to write "Hateful and Racist" comments, remember this, the more you bring it up, the longer it will be around. Stop the Hate, stop the Racism, stop the Predjudeces (and yes, I may have spelled that wrong). Get to know people for who "they" are, not for where their family comes from. You might be surprised on how people talk to you and treat you.
This General Lee is not from the 80's show. This car was built by John himself. He stated it in the first Ebay auction and maybe in this auction too...I haven't read it.. He has another Charger...just a regular Dodge that he will build and paint and sell it when he needs money for another low budget movie and charity. I live in Georgia and the Dukes of Hazard was filmed in a small town close to where I grew up. They apparently used about 50 cars each season. All the jumps and wrecks would tear the cars up. They ended up selling the cars at auctions as is to salvage. Usually, they would sell for 5 to 10 thousand dollars and that's it. It's a shame that people will give millions of dollars for a car that is either a salvage, a model or a copy. This car on Ebay now was built by John and signed by some of the stars of the Dukes movie and a select few from the 80's show. There are very few cars worth more than a million dollars...maybe an Elvis Cadillac or the Beatles Rolls Royce but a General Lee that is not an original Dukes car...maybe, and I am being very generous here, maybe $25,000 and only that much because it was built by John Schnieder himself...other than that...possible ten grand.
