Spelling it out
Candy to Joe Francis: Cry Me a River

Candy Spelling, Joe FrancisDear Joe,

As the headlines about you changed -- to scream "imprisoned" and "U.S. marshals" instead of "filmmaker" and "entrepreneur," you respond by crying, wailing and seeing yourself as a victim. Bad move. Today's headlines call you a "crybaby."

You blew it, Joe. Instead of jumping from party to party, you're being shuffled from one prison to another. And no one feels sorry for you. The flatterers and entourages have moved on. They have short attention spans. They're hanging on to someone else and will take advantage of the new "temp celebrity" as long as it lasts.

The only redeeming factor is reading that you have been calling home every day from prison. When things are looking bleak, it sounds like you've found that you can get some perspective from the reliable people at home. Maybe you're realizing these are the only people who really care about you.

Your world has changed, and you're the poster boy for what can happen when boys go wild. Your every move and every emotion are still being reported, but not the way you want. It's time for some dignity. At least it might prevent you from being forever defined as a crybaby.

Sincerely,

Candy Spelling

92. Maybe if people call VALERIE Salon in Beverly Hills: (310) 274-7348 and bombard them with letters about Miss Candy perhaps they will have a good reason to give her the justifiable boot out the door she deserves..Bulmaro is my friend and does her makeup as I said and she's just a real PAIN there...

A miserable woman who thinks everyone actually LIKES her..They like her DOUGH

93. Dale, does Ms Candy tip your friend Bulmaro well?
She looks like a munchkin :)

94. Didn't her son 'date' Parisite Ho-ton?

95. LOL Not as much as she should...Bulmaro was married to the 80's singer Tiffany and they have a child. He's a good hard working dad and should be tipped atleast fairly..he is not.

This woman needs to definately direct all of her attention to HERSELF. She is lost since her husband passed away and is very "Displaced"..She has no identity other than Mrs. Aaron Spelling

Maybe after reading the Truth here she will stop annoying people.

96. Hey Dale why would you call out your friend like that? You could have told the story without mentioning names. Your big mouth is risking his JOB!!

97. She should actually tip him even more for making her look atleast fairly presentable..In person she has had so much Surgery that a make Up Artist can only do so much...
The Munchkin comment..She does now that you mention it

If she was a NICE PERSON it would be different-she is not, she deserves to be insulted.

99. There seems to be a bit ( small bit) of bitterness based on the one fact available, that Candy is wealthy! Also the appropriateness to be writing letters to TMZ "at her age" and station in life lol. The comments seem to be saying she has no right to write because she is who she is, however we on the other hand may slam, give advise too, comment repeatedly on every stars circumstances because "we are not who Candy is" lmao. her letters seem to be unintentionally bringing out hypocrisy.

I find it embarrassing and juvenile.some write as if they spent time in the Spelling home for Gods sake (you scare me) making judgment calls based on ? But I do respect eveyones right to Blog away.

I don't see Candy's letter so much about advice as her own statement. Just as this is mine. I find it all an interesting way to fill space in a day & humorous, I get it.

101. Candy,

I think you have so much class and dignity. I totally respect you going after this group of people and trying to lead them straight. I love Randy on his reality show and watching him shows you did such a good job raising him. Next, please send an open letter to Britney, she really needs your wisdom.

102. Candy has raised two fairly normal kids in a very out of the norm situation and they both appear to be hardworking and decent. I enjoy reading what she has to say and if Ivana Trump can give advice why not Candy Spelling.....

105. I love Candy Spelling. She should write for TMZ all the time. She can be the Columnist that gives advice to the Stars or the Wanabe stars.
