Sizemore Charged With Five Drug Related Felonies

Tom SizemoreTMZ has learned that actor Tom Sizemore has been charged with five felonies and one misdemeanor stemming from a crystal meth bust earlier this month.

Sizemore was charged with one count each of transportation and possession of methamphetamines, and three counts of possession of prescription drugs without the proper prescription.

Sizemore was arrested on May 8, after Bakersfield Police say the actor had been using crystal meth outside of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel.

46. What a shame. He chose to fry his brains with meth. Can't repair meth induced brain damage - no one's an exception to the rule - no one. Goodbye, dude.

47. 44. Post # 8 WoW

How wonderful she was able to over power her addiction.
she must have really wanted it badly, It's rare to hear of a success story.

Yes, she is pulling though just fine.

She has been able to get a job and hold it down and regain control of her financial responsibilities. She now goes to church consistently. I believe that is a huge help and support to her.

Also, the fact that she hit rock bottom financially and lives in a small town with a lot of pressure from family may have contributed to her turn around.

Whatever the reason. It is a relief to have her back in the land of the living.

I hope Tom can extract himself from this.

48. Also, Tom Sizemore may be a celebrity, but he has a mother, father and maybe some siblings. I wager you, they are suffering greatly right now because he is a member of their family and they love him.

When a person gets in trouble with drug addiction, everyone in their family is tormented because of their love and care for him. The drug addicted person ceases to be themselves as you know them. My sister had turned into something like the living dead. That is a hard thing for any family member to endure seeing one of their loved ones like that.

I wonder if Tom is that way?

50.
Here is South Africa (specially Cape Town) we have a problem with Crystal meth. Some kids as young as eight use crystal meth. They smoke the drug using a light bulb. Here we call it "tik". For the sound it makes in the bulb. If you open a newspaper here there is also a story in about tik. It's like a battle that you can not win.
I think celebs should think twice before they get involved with drugs.

51. Shame...only know this man from his acting work over time...
Work gone, relationships gone, money gone, self honor gone...so much pain...While normally people's personal pain should be just that... this is the stuff that should be used to wake people up, scare people about addictions that can't be controlled... It seems he will again lose his freedom, but i wish he has professional, compassionate, tough attention, to help with his head, getting clean, stronger and his wanting his self respect back...
I think you are now in the zone of fighting for your very life...

52. God! Doesn't anyone have compassion for the addict that's still suffering? Don't be so quick to judge until you've walked in his shoes!!

53. If you look at his pre-drug performances, Tom Sizemore is (or was) an extremely talented actor . His addiction has ruined his life and his promising & highly profitable career. I would have a difficult time believing that he chose this path. Most of us want to believe that we are in control of our addictions (and yes, we all have them-even if it is "harmless" coffee or chocolate). He made a choice to film his addiction and "recovery". He made the statement that he would not be surprised if the drugs killed him since he was "so far gone" and wanted others to learn from his example. His far too public descent has drawn attention to the problem and hopefully, more people are aware of crystal meth and the tragedy that follows in it's wake.

56. The only thing that shocks me about this situation is that Danny Bonaduce wasn't with him.VH1 could have a new reality series, "Whose meth lab is better? Bonaduce vs Sizemore"
