Celebrity Justice
Bundy Charged with Bud Possession

David Faustino, Bud BundyTMZ has learned that former child star David Faustino (aka Bud Bundy) has been charged with possession of cannabis by the Florida State Attorney.

The charge stems from an incident in which cops say the former "Married With Children" star (and one-time wannabe rapper by the name of "D Lil") was drunk, and arguing with his estranged wife in the middle of the street. After officers arrested Faustino for public drunkeness, cops say they found a baggie containing about a gram of pot on his person.

If convicted, Bud could face up to a year in the county lockup.

33. This country has got to wake up. Marijuana is providing our enormous prison system a continuous stream of money, keeping the black man under the white man's thumb. Pot will never be legal in this country because there's too much oil money spent on politicians to keep the status quo. Big oil rules, and anybody can grow a weed, so there's no corporate incentive.

O.k. it's election year. Also police officer of the decade award, right? Anywho, America home of the free(Yeah, ask our GI's how true that one is) and home of the brave(yeah, the cop had to arrest David because others might want a joint too, right? Geez). To educate a little here, In the UK London for example, a person can go into the cities free clinic and admit, "Hey I am a drug addicted person". It does not matter what drug he/she is on. As long as the person works a job the UK government will issue enough of the drug and instruments(needles etc.) for one month. Each month the person must go back for a check-up. If the person wants to quit, rehab is established.
I am a retired military woman. When stationed in St. Louis, Missouri in a county not far from the downtown area, Venice, ILL. they had something called an alcoholic check. You went to social services and admitted to being an alcoholic. If you were one for at least two years, you received a check each month. The "Alcoholic check" as it was called was for the sum of $125. The catch? You must cash it at a liquor store. Ain't America Grand!

38. Marijuana needs to be decriminalized badly, No one should face a years in jail for marijuana possession. THere are countries where marijuana. hash and drugs such as this are legal. THe USA country needs to lighten the sentence on marijuana, Alcohol kills more people all the time than marijuana ever has.

39. I too am a Canuck and I can't believe that they would send him to the big house for a year for possession of a GRAM! As many have pointed out - the whole thing is stupid and bud should be legalized once and for all. Hopefully he gets off with just some community service.

40. this is so sad over a gram of weed, it wasn't like he was behind the wheel of a car and hit somebody

41. He was charged with being drunk in public people! that is included along with the gram of pot in the possible year sentence, which is insane I admit. I doubt he will do any time if he has no past.
He should do a week just for being stupid. Fighting in the street with his woman, drunk, with pot. Not to bright for a ...How old is he now?
Yee Haw Bud!

42. GrandMaster B tokin' up...what a surprise.

I smoked the stuff like it was cigs from `73 (in Nam) to `88. I only quit in `88 because of the high risk of being drug tested at work.

I did everything from shoe sales to security, K9 patrol officer, prison guard, and bodyguard to a famous singer. Never had a problem.

I think the gov't should make it just like liquor. Have to be 21 to purchase/possess/use. Can't drive while under the influence. Can't furnish to minors. Common sense stuff.

Why is it that alcoholics can still have jobs and not get in trouble unless they're drunk at work?

Smoke pot and get tested at work the next day...you lose your job. That's truly sad.

The gov't has the stuff ready for legal distribution. They'd make a BUTTLOAD of money from the taxes. WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

43. I agree with the people who posted their opinions about this being rediculous. There are a lot more people should be watched and contained in jail/prison than some one that smoked some pot. I find it odd that so much importance is placed on "pot" when other things seemingly go by the way side. It is okay to drink yourself into a stupor and that seems to be okay with most as it is "legal". Hog wash! Legalize the crap, get the government to tax it and they could likely pay off the National debt in the first 3 months! You will NEVER stop people from doing things like this. It is impossible! Prohibition failed as well. If someone wants to get stoned...trust me they will. No law or jail term is going to deter them. That in itself is a waste of time, energy and money. If those attempts at detering crime really worked, then there would be no over crowding in jails an in prisons. People would be too afraid to commit the crime. Most of the prisons and jails have more dope of any kind than you can get on the streets and it is mostly brought in by the officers who work there and familes of the prisoners. So even being in jail or prison will not stop this!! Put the money and energy/resources into something that will make a difference. If you wanna smoke pot, then smoke the hell out of it. If you want heroin, then do that too. I don't care. The people who use, will use. People who won't, won't. I have not seen any program or jail sentence that has stoped someone from doing what they wanted to do.

44. Re: Post #36 > Wendy

Yes America is grand & I love it.
No I am not free to go to a run down building and get free drugs to last a month....( as In London, as you stated) oh poor me. If that is the only reason one could give to not live & love America No wonder so many are trying to get in here!
And yes our soldiers or GI's as you call them, Love America as well. That is why they volunteered. Things are not always conspiracy & paranoia. Some things are fairly simple. Bud got drunk and fell down.
