#6. Simpson was NOT "proven innocent." He was found "not guilty"—a world of difference.

#2. The Goldmans have not collected "over 15 million in cash for his death" from Simpson. Where did they get the $15 million from and what are your sources?

The Goldman won the civil judgment and have every right to get the money due them. Just as, unfortunately, Simpson is able to walk around a free man due to the verdict in the criminal case.

IMO - I think that the Goldman's are just reminding OJ at EVERY opportunity that he owes them money - reminding the world that this man was found GUILTY in a civil court of law for murdering or assisting in murdering a member of their family.
I think this is understandable -- maybe not healthy for them, but they are still in pain, no matter how long it has been.
Didnt they vow to donate all his money to charity or something? have they recieved any money yet from OJ and if so, did it go to charity?

63. I am shocked and saddened, by the ignorance and lack of compassion by the posters on this site. Not only are you unaware of the facts in this case, but your insensitivity towards a grieving family is disgusting.

You would have no idea what you would do if you child was murdered ... and if the man that killed him, walked away scott free and then spent the next 12 years rubbing it in their faces. He speaks publicly about working hard to avoid the judgment against him; not to mention his attorneys are on record, stating that they will do whatever they can to help their client AVOID THE JUDGMENT as well. We are not dealing with honorable people, yet you choose to side with them? Even if you think he is innocent, 12 people disagree you and found him liable for 2 murders and slapped him with a mighty big fine. You would have to pay it, why shouldn't he?

This family has been fighting to hold OJ accountable for years and he continually skirts the system. They are entitled to go after him and they are justified in their pursuit. A judge and a jury told them so, to the tune of $38M.

They have collected NOTHING so far ... and yet you claim they are sitting on millions and are just basking in the glory of their dead son/brother? You should be ashamed.

This family, in my opinion, has handled themselves with dignity and grace and I applaud their efforts. I have read that both Fred and Kim are active advocates for victims of crime and in fact, i heard that if they were ever to collect, that they would start a charity in Ron's memory. But even if they didn't, they deserve our support as civil minded people -- we should not be siding with a double murderer - who not only killed the mother of his children but now uses them to help him hide his money. Father of the year material!

BUT....anyone who spends their whole life seeking to extract every last cent from someone who POSSIBLY may have murdered your brother....will have a sad and sorry life.....not to mention that it COSTS money to put lawsuits through court......

I'm sure anybody of sound mind would not want their family to spend their lives digging for every penny from a POSSIBLE suspect in their murder.

It stands to reason.....they will have no life if they keep going after cash....its pathetic.....!

My likening to Howard K Stern is that he was also quite happy to spend his whole life as a purse holder in order to keep his claws on the pursestrings........when people give up their lives for the pursuit of money it is sad and very unhealthy....not to mention the effect their greed has on others.....

66. In my opinion, I respect the Goldman family. I wish there were more people like them in this world. If there were the world would be a better and safer place. The Goldman family are not in this sad situation at all for the money. They want justice period. This family has suffered a terrible loss. The loss of their family member. Who was a beloved son and sibling. I admired this family. IMO

68. Fred Goldman did not win the entire judgement. You people forget that he only won have of that money. The Brown's won the other half. However, they are not chasing down every single dime that OJ makes. They want to allow their daughter to rest in peace. They did not want the book published if I Did IT. But, unfortunately, the Goldman's want the money, so their daughters name will have to be drugged back up again. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE GOLDMAN'S RESPECT THE BROWN'S AND THEIR WISHES TO LET IT GO.
