19. Melinda "No neck" Doolittle was soooooo NOT the next American Idol!! I am going to say what everyone else is thinking right now. Ruben, Fantasia and Taylor Hicks do not sell records because they are BUTT ASS UGLY!! You know its true!!! Melinda is so ugly it was painful for me to look at her. However, Kelly Clarkson is cute and has a great personality! Carrie Underwood is SMOKING HOT! Chris Daughtry is WAY HOT!!!! Do you see a pattern here??? 21. What's with the 'marketable' comments? As if Ruben, Fantasia, or Taylor were any different? What were they? Young, hot, and hip??? The whole show has become a joke. If all of that other stuff (appeal, whatever) means so much, how come the judges keep reminding us (and the contestants) that it's a SINGING competition? Get real....if it was all about image, then Kathryn McPhee and Diana DeGarmo would have beaten Taylor and Fantasia. Melinda will have the last laugh, believe me. Just like Clay Aiken is having.

23. I don't think Melinda got screwed, sometime losing is really winning and I think Melinda will be real happy one year from and just like Taylor, Chris Daughtrey is doing real well. 24. Anyone look at the arms on Jordin Sparks. She is a big boned girl! The nose on Blake spreads from America to 3rd world country. No one is perfect. Melinda did have the best voice out of them all. She sang perfect compared to these other two young twits. Peace Out!!!

26. Melinda really does have talent, but I really don't think she will ever make it as a BIG singing star. Sure, Melinda will have some followers, but look out world - Jordan is still growing in her talent. Jordan will become a big name for decades to come. 28. Thank you Sharon(#24). I have been on "check yourself TMZ" kick today. It started with that absurd state politician/MelGibson story. Now they want to play nice with Melinda after that mean spirited, unprovoked Shrek 3 article last week. At the time I posted that TMZ was better than that (the comment never saw the light of day because they pulled down the article all together) but the more I think about it, the more I think they are not any better than that. If TMZ were even handed I would give them the benefit of the doubt. They document every step of Brit and Paris and Lindsey (you do understand by simply reporting on them 10 times a day and following them around town you are perpetuating their putrid existence) and make fun of the defenseless (Melinda/Shrek 3) and intentionally harm innocent children (Alec Baldwin's kid) you are becoming lower than the low lives you cover. Do your thing TMZ but do it with class and integrity. The fun nature of this site is quickly turning ugly right in front of my eyes.

29. Please, don't even try and go there. Are you telling me that AI2 Winner, Ruben Studdard was the whole package, that he had the X factor. Get real. He is fat, has no personality, and could not come close to singing as good as Clay Aiken. Fantasia wa OK, but Jennifer Hudson was much better (Season 3) Chris Daughtry and Elliott Yamin were much better than Taylor Hicks. (Season 5) I think Jordan is beautiful, young and can sing, but Blake is a jerk. It should have been Melinda ( an awesome singer) and Jordin.
