32. First of all Fantasia cd sold very very well. I have that cd and let me tell you it is very good. And if people are buying records solely on the fact that someone is skinny and good looking or not thenI can see why the music that is out now a days is such crap.

That being said I would like American Idol to do a spin off show and bring back some of the best seasons contestants and have them compete. Clay, Diana, Jennifer Hudson, Chris and whomever else and see who would win. I would definately tune in for that!

35. Melinda has a real set of pipes. It was the text-messaging tweenies. I know I didn't get off my duff and vote using my landline (hehe) because it was a little farther than my foot could reach...and Melinda should have targeted her song choice to something much more contemporary - hell, I'm a woman, w-o-m-a-n?!? I saw that last in about 1973 with maybe Helen Reddy or somebody performing....she lost whatever youth vote there was. I hope Melinda gets some bona fide cash paying work out of this apart from that top 10 tour. She really can sing. I think now that the boy should win. He's ready to go. Jordin needs to finish grade 11 or something, go to grad and have a life.

36. I think Jordin is a good singer but she doesn't blow me away. I also don't see how everyone thinks she can be a 'pop' idol. I wouldn't buy her record. I think Blake is a way better performer even if his singing isn't as good. His Bon Jovi rendition was really cool. I think it should be Melinda and Blake at the final with Melinda winning.

37. i highly doubt she will do that well. i mean they said the same thing about fantasia, and who even hears about her anymore? her voice sounded so ancient....not to mention she was so boring and had no neck :) jordin rocks...the total package, and shes got a voice that sounds young and entertaining. not like we are back in the 60s

38. Melinda's career stops here. She's not marketable. I can't think of one person who would be interested in spending hard earned money on her music. She's got a great voice, but no neck and no personality. Stick a fork in her -- she's done.
