Rosie: Get Me Outta Here, Stat!

Rosie O'Donnell sure is itching to be done with "The View," and she's definitely not hiding her displeasure with her co-hosts after what she called an "explosive" day yesterday on the air.

Likening herself on her blog at rosie.com to a "senior in highschool [sic],", the talk queen made it clear that the end of June -- and her tenure on the show -- can't come fast enough. "It's sunny and i wanna stay home/be done/move on," she writes. "The end is always rocky/one must focus."

Ro also addressed yesterday's show, in which she came under fire for supposedly equating American soldiers with terrorists on a previous show (which she explained was a misinterpretation of her words). Several fans wrote in to point out that her co-hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, and Barbara Walters seemed to "gang up" on her, with Babwa giving an especially pointed lesson in the definitions of "terrorist" and "jihadist."

Rosie's response? "It upsets me/frankly/but what can u do ... today was weird." Buckle up, "View" fans. Should be an interesting few weeks.

46. Unreal. The only person SCREAMING to get the troops home is Rosie O'Donnell. The only person using airtime to talk about this administrations illegal invasion of Iraq is Rosie O'Donnell. Do you people not understand we are there illegally and the Iraqi people are dying in vary large numbers? If China decided they didn't like George Bush and landed their planes and soldiers on American soil, it would be the same thing. We are viewed as TERRORISTS by many people in the world because we INVADED IRAQ. Our soldiers are not terrorists. Our PRESIDENT is a war mongering terrorist.

48. O Dee, Dee, Dee let me guess, you are an unwed mother of god knows how many. That sit at home on THERE fat asses watching talk shows and waiting for your check each month. Come on tell me I'm right and I'll have a little respect for you. Maybe you should watch some news for change. It don't have to be Fox, it can be CNN or MSNBC or whatever. It won't change the fact that tons of fun don't have a clue. Eliz makes it easy to make Rosie look stupid. It's not that hard to do. I'm sure Eliz holds back every day just to be kind to Rosie and make her look like a complete fool. Dee, nothing personal I'm sure your a nice naive young lady. Do your homework and learn some current events. You may surprise yourself. I'm also sure that with the current federal handouts available to you, a GED could be right at your finger tips. Then you could proceed to higher education and become part of the real world. I'm pulling for you Dee. Goodluck!!!

Unfortunately Mel, I think the terrorists are smart enough to keep this waste of space alive to continue to spew her anti american rhetoric. I think I will now refer to her as Osama ODonnell. I'm sure she will find it a fitting tribute to Hanoi Jane and totally dig it.

54. I watched The View and clearly Elizabeth had a smart ass attitude towards Rosie. Joy seemed to get upset with Rosie but hey, she had a right to her "View". Barbara was trying to make a point that she thought needed to be made, even though I think that she still did not get what Rosie was trying to say. I think that Rosie is so over trying to get Elizabeth to look at the facts on issues.

55. People don't misinterpret Rosie, she speaks her mind over everyone and there is no misinterpretion. It's only people who agree with a bully who has to have things her way or else. Of course we have WMDs so does France, UK and other countries, but they don't threaten other countries that they will nuke them the moment they get them. Left-wingers are soooo in the dark about reality, they put bombs on their kids to kill others would you or Rosie do that?

56. Yeah I saw yesterday's show - and they DID gang up on her. Elizabeth was the worst. She didn't answer Rosie's simple question of "Did you think I equated our troops for terrorists?" It showed how unfair and unbalanced Elizabeth and the show really is. I will not watch the show after Rosie leaves. Stat!

58. Nobody ganged up on Rosie. They just didn't sit back and let the bully beat up the little kid. Rosie thinks being loud and rude is being right. She won't listen to facts and it's about time someone spoke up and helped Eliz.

59. When the View first aired, I tried to watch it but found it too feminist for my tastes. I used to enjoy the old "Rosie" show when she kept it light and funny. Once she started screeching and preaching her liberal views. Slamming guests that didn't agree with her. She lost her humor. Then she "came out". Her show was doomed, and so was her magazine. She made it all about being a liberal lesbian. The show and the magazine went away because it was no longer funny, or enjoyable to watch. In fact, she was doing advertising for K Mart at the time and her liberal rants were so offensive that people boycotted K Mart, and put them into bankruptcy. They had to close many of their stores, in fact most of the stores in my area of California.

Ellen made the same mistake when she came out. Her sitcom changed course and lost it's humor. It was no longer enjoyable as a sit com. Her new talk show is not about her sexual preference, and that is why it is still on the air. She has recaptured her humor, and that is what made her a successful comedian in the first place.

Now Rosie has a microphone on the View, and she isn't funny, and she isn't smart. All she has to offer is anti American views and militant lesbianism. Why would I want to watch that? Why would anyone want to watch that? We watch TV for information, i.e. the news, and for pure enjoyment. If you aren't being informed or entertained you either change the channel or turn the box off.

60. DEE, RAIN & KELLY, apparently Elizabeth's intelligence is too much for you to handle. You'd rather listen to Rosie's crude, obnoxious, unintelligent remarks. Not to mention her erronious comments she makes since she hasn't the brains to check things out before commenting on them. Oh well, when she finally leaves the show, maybe you all can become chat buddies with her.
