Angelina -- "This Has Been a Heavy Year"

It might seem like she's got a charmed life -- gorgeous kids, great baby daddy, killer career -- but Angelina Jolie says she's actually "in a strange place" in her life, and that the past year, with the death of her mother, has been "heavy."

In an interview with the "Today" show's Ann Curry, Jolie said that her life with Brad Pitt and the four kids isn't as "crazy" as everyone makes it out to be (though Curry informed her that someone had tried to climb a wall to get a shot of their chat). "I take my kids to school ... I come home ... I have a very solid, very warm home," said Angie.

But when the talk turned to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died earlier this year, the actress -- currently portraying Marianne Pearl in "A Mighty Heart" -- acknowledged that it's been "a heavy year," and let the waterworks flow (just a little), chiding Curry for making her cry.

65. The woman definately has intense psychological problems. She acts like someone who may have been molested as a child. This does not excuse her present behavior. Adopting children from other countries as if they were her newest handbags. I would have loved to have had nannies, assistants, cooks and chauffers to free up my time while I was establishing my business. Her morality is nonexistant. Please allow the men you sleep with to divorce first before you, well you know what you do. Of course the men are as much to blame as she is. With your bazillions of dollars you could have helped the parentless children who were victims of Katrina. Even Habitat for Humanity, huh? She offers nothing to society and is a waste of space. She speaks of taking time off to enable her to spend time with her family, as if this is something noble. I have done it every day for 30 years of my daughter's lives. It is what a mom does, not what she implies as a gesture of what a grand thing she has done. Do it every day, Angie dear, mothers do that. Please stop with the kids, unless you are trying to create three full lines on a hockey team. One whole year, those kids are soooooooooooooo lucky. Please go away.

67. Brad & Angie are just playing house. They only help charities so people have something "good" to say about them and cover up the marriage they distroyed. Pretty sad. Jen is much better off without Brad. I am so glad they didn't have kids together. If Angie is such a good "mother", she needs to mend things with her own Dad. LIfe is too short, as she knows, to hold grudges. Grow up !!!!! She is keeping 4 kids from knowing their Grandfather.

68. Brad Pitt wanted a family and Jennifer Aniston wanted a career. They should both be happy now. I use to be a fan of Friends and Jennifer Aniston when she played Rachel. But the fact that she won't let go has made me take a second look at her. She is a mediocre talent at best and if it wasn't for the part in the sitcom Friends she would probable be making a living as a soap star. Angelina is highly talented and capable of winning many acting awards in her lifetime, and she may do just that. But she has made it clear that her family is the most important thing in her life and always will be. The Jolie-Pitt family deserves some privacy.

69. it does take two people to make a marriage work, if the marriage was a happy and working marriage, the break-up (no pun intended) would not have been so easy. If Both parties in the marriage was satisfied and content and was willing to make it work no matter what, then it would not be possible for someone else to walk in and destroy it.

71. Listen Cattle dog girl or whatever you want to call yourself! I will not stoop to your level. You hide behind those words but would never have the ceriage to do so in someone’s face. It takes so much more to hate someone then to just let stuff go. It is really crazy how wrapped up in ones life you are. All you do is spill out hate. I really hope you do not have children with all that hate you have inside of you. Quit judging people. You don’t know everything that goes on in her life. Simple as that! I thought in America you are innocent until proven guilty but, I guess not. If you guys were the court of law she would be prosecuted and the key would be thrown away. Ask yourself this. When was the last time you did something nice for someone else instead of yourself? Time is wasted so much on hating and worrying what other people are doing in their life. Check you own life before you start judging someone else’s life. All I know is I am a working mother. My kids and I get up at 530 in the morning and my children get dropped off at the day care by 630 in the morning. I don’t get them till 630pm so are you saying every mother in the US is a bad mother because they work and have children? If you guys had money you all would have a private school and daycare and nannies. They have enough money so if they don’t ever make another movie again they are set! Can you say that same? Nope probably not just probably broke and hating on all the money they make. Anyway, you only live once and you mind as well be happy and be with the person that makes you happy because you can be gone tomorrow.

72. I'm just not sure I trust this "NEW" Angelina. Her earlier movies were always presenting a distrubed character. I know as we grow older, we mature, but I still remember the red carpet events. One, kissing her brother as though her lover, and the display of her and Billy Bob Thornton. Yuk!!! Today, the "NEW" Angelina says she isn't a touchy person. Hum! The "NEW" Angelina walked the red carpet with Pitt, and presented herself to be better than fellow actors. Her demeanor was, "look at me, there's so much more important things in this world to do than walk a red carpet. I'm doing all this great work in these 3rd world countries, and adopting babies. I even brought Pitt out of the Hollywood pit". When asked questions, she barely spoke, and let Pitt do the talking, and came off as though she was only there because of him. Geez, I just don't know about her new character??? Although, I was glad Pitt and Jennifer busted up (he grew up and was way too much of a man for her), but I bet living with Jolie is like riding on a roller coaster. She just appears to be a very complicated woman. One, not easy to love. And, what's up with the"non"- realtionship with her Dad??? Just because he spilled the beans to the media about her first adopted child. How childish. Get over it already!!! Nevertheless, I still like her, but my verdict is still out on her consistency and committment. Time over the years will tell!
