Daughtry's Selfish "Idol" Prediction

Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis may have made it to the final two on "American Idol" but Chris Daughtry doesn't think either will win. Huh?!

TMZ spotted the last season's resident guy-linered rocker outside Hyde last night with his band, aptly named Daughtry, where he told cameras, "I think we could win this year." Sadly, we don't remember hearing Seacrest read off the 866 number to vote for him after his performance in the finale.

Fans were rabid for celebs leaving the premiere of "Mr. Brooks," and while the film's star, Kevin Costner, stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with them, Dane Cook and Bruce Willis breezed past the entire group. Yippie-ki-yay mother lover!

Also out last night were a charmingly threatening Damon Wayans, Brian McKnight, Babyface, a studly Michael Vartan, Lance Bass and the always bearded Billy Gibbons.

All this and more in today's false idol edition of Star Catcher.

17. Wendy, Chris is in clubs because he IS PERFORMING there! He's been on tour for months. He was completely kidding with this comment and was a way to avoid picking between the 2 finalists.

I can't believe how eager you people are to pounce all over somebody. Chris is a fantastic person and he is BEYOND grateful for all of his success.

20. It was clearly a JOKE! And he was poking fun at himself, you idiots.

And posers don't sell 2.5 MILLION cds OR have TWO songs on the Billboard hot 100 OR have two MTV videos out. Apparently, some people just can't keep up.
He was at the club because he was performing to sell-out crowds! Like he's been doing for over a year now. YOU may not like it, but he's HOT HOT HOT!!!

26. Chris is funny as all heck! He is always joking around. Some people just don't get a joke when they hear one because they are sniveling, whiny pathetic people always groveling at the bottom. If you listen better, you will hear him say he "likes them both". He didn't want to pick a winner.

27. THis guy is a prick. I dont know who likes him, or why people even do. He is so god damn annoying and has such an inflated ego that someone needs to put him back in his place. He needs to realize that he's not a rock star, he's an American Idol has-been and he sucks. His music is horrible, he is gross. I heard an interview on a radio station with him, where he said his favorite book is Jurassic Park cause it's the only one he's fully read. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? He's only read one book in his entire life? What a MORON.

30. To JustinOpinion, if people who are making posts are making such poor judgements on how they spend their time...then why are you making a post reading about the same things they did? Just curious. Chris was making a joke. Though i agree the eyeliner is a bit much the photog just made a smart comment about it and then asked him about Idol which I'm sure is not a fond topic so his reply was a bit sarcastic about him winning. So what. To those who read what this site says and it "changes" their opinions of people are pretty pathetic. The site is from entertainment for entertainment. Dont let someones pathetic opionion/interpretation make you slam someone. Especially this footage of Chris Daughtry. It's obvious it's a sarcastic statement said back to the sarcastic photog. And to Robin who can't spell Daughtry even when it's typed just above where you make a comment. You shouldn't make comments about people when you can't copy their name down correctly. I'm not just some "fan" but Daughtry had a really good concert and was very gracious. It's a good thing he didn't win Idol or he'd have to come out with some lame Idol CD like all the others. Instead the head of the company Clive allowed him to have a ton of input on his first album out and you see now what he can do. So...Come one people.
