Is Nicole Back in Rehab for Diet and Drugs?

Nicole RichieReports are swirling that tabloid princess Nicole Richie is back -- yet again -- in rehab and more "helpless" than ever, but TMZ is told that it just ain't so. In fact, as we write, Nicole's sitting at home in Glendale, and doing just fine.

The National Enquirer and Star magazine are jointly reporting that Nicole re-entered rehab at Beau Monde on May 11 to fight anorexia and a painkiller addiction, on an outpatient basis, and that she did so "in tears," lamenting the fact that she's "lost control of her life." What's more, report the tabs' sources, she went back in just a few days ago, on the 19th.

But Richie's rep tells TMZ a totally different story, namely that she isn't -- and wasn't -- in rehab, and that she's "in Glendale at her house" (and, we presume, eating). We're told that she did go back to see her therapist, and that her recovery is "an ongoing process," but that she's "completely sober."

31. Is this Lifestyle Normal for Nicole? Why is Nicole living her life in Circles? This has been the only news, that we have heard about her for months. This is a Sad way to keep youself in the Media. The only picture that we see is a: rReed Thin. Drunk, Drug User, and Out of Control Person that needs help. 34. what humors me is the comments under these stories! so many jealous people who think they have figured out everything that these people are and do. 36. One thing you have to agree with, all of you haters: Nicole Ritchie is ALWAYS well dressed, he hair is impeccable. That is called good taste. A lot of rich people have no taste, in spite of all their money they are badly dressed and have awful hair. Nicole is chic. I wanted to say something positive about Nicole, there are so many bad vibes about her here today, shame on you.

38. Nicole, please just eat.

At least if you are going to party, the food will help to keep you alive. I always thought that you were so hot when you had a little more weight on you. You were NEVER fat. Now you are way way way too thin.

Please gain weight and cut down on the drugs, and do not pay any attention to the mean cruel idiots who post here. They are just trying to hurt your feelings, and for what reason, I have no idea.

Why kick someone when they are down?

Please people, be nice. This is a young girl who needs love and help, no cruelty. Why do that, when you can be nice?

40. I think that people should not be so amazed that things like this are happening to Nicole Richie. She is a human being who bleeds red like all the rest of us. It is only natural for humans to experience rough patches in their lives. Just as Nicole needs to look inward and begin to respect and love herself in order for her situation to improve, we ALL do.

44. Nicole is beautiful, funny, and has great style. Being with Paris (who got more attention) might have effected her negatively - but the thing is, EVERYONE likes Nicole way more than Paris! Paris deserves jail, but I think Nicole would benefit more from rehab and psychoogical help. Anorexia itself is an addiction, once you stop eating, its hard to start again. She is so underweight, I start to wonder if she quit eating as a slow form of suicide. She would be so much prettier if she weighed 30 pounds more.

Nicole is denying she was in rehab, denying she has anorexia, and denying that she is using drugs again. But we all know she is lying just by looking at her. She may be afraid to be honest because she is embarassed and in the public eye. But I think IT WOULD HELP HER CAREER to admit the obvious. Lots of girls look up to Nicole. When a celeb wears jewelry, dresses,etc. sales skyrocket; if she wore a sobriety ring, it would help other girls. It would inspire them to get help for eating disorders and stay sober. It would help get rid of the stigma.

45. I think Nicole Richie is Great! I am always saying to my friends we have to go to Hollywood and find Nicole Richie!!! We have to go save her. I am a huge fan! She is beautiful, and has so much style and class. I am 34 years old, so it is not like I am a teenager saying this. I really think Nicole has potential. I was anorexic 10 years ago, was 81 pounds and it truly is a disease and it never goes away, I still deal with it everyday. My heart goes out to Nicole. I wish her the best!!
