78. People need to get up off their lazy asses and work for their money instead of filing trying to get rich over the slightest injury. I'm sure Brandy had good liability insurance on her car and that should be enough. All these lawsuits will be thrown out of court and all the idiots calling for jail time needs to go to hell. It was a freaking accident, she was not drunk like others so it's only a liabilty issue.

79. She killed someone's daughter, someone's mother, someone's wife, someone's friend.

It may have been a vehicle accident but maybe she should have been paying more attention then someone would not have died.

Maybe she doesn't have the skills (or brains) to drive in the first place.

Take her license and make her do her time.

81. What bothers me the most is that, when this story first broke it seemed like all people were talking about was "Will this end Brandy's career?" Nobody seemed to give a damn about the woman who was killed!!! A Range Rover is a big heavy vehicle and if you are going to drive one you have to take into account that it will not stop like a corvette and when you hit someone you could do serious harm. Just because someone slams their brakes on in front of you that does not give you the right to plow into them like some of you imply. LA freeways are some of the most congested in the country and stop-gos are common. Brandy's lack of attention killed a woman and injured others and she needs to be held accountable just like anyone else-- no more no less!!

82. Brandi didn't intend for someone to wind up dead as a result of her mistakes, but someone is dead nevertheless. When someone makes a mistake with terrible consequences the decent thing to do is to own up to it and pay for the damage done, as much as possible. Brandi is in the financial position to pay for her mistake but refuses to do so. What a scumbag.

83. If anyone loses there life in any kind of accident it is a tragedy. I agree that she should pay for the medical expenses yet i do not agree with having law suits filed against her. Accidents happen and no matter how much money they get out of her, the pain of losing that love one will never go away. After everything is over and done with, the family of the dead woman will realize that even if they are awarded money.

84. I can't believe you people think that she should be responsible. When driving your vehicle you should use safe distance between you and the car in front of you! Brandi should be responsible for the person that she hit. I feel sorry about the lady dying but Brandi did not hit her directly! If everyone was driving at a safe speed and gave them enough room for stopping without hitting the vehicle in front of them - it would not have been so many cars involved!
