Lets Get This Party Started
Did Rosie Leave Trail of Trash, 'Staches?

Wild Rosie Gallery: click to launch photosRosie O'Donnell may have burned whatever bridges she had at "The View," after her ballistic blowup with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, allegedly trashing her dressing room in anger.

And that's not all! Her chief writer, Janette Barber, reports Page Six, was escorted from ABC studios after she was caught drawing moustaches on photos of Elisabeth hanging around the building. Indeed, ABC confirmed to the Post that "photographs at 'The View's" offices were defaced," though it adds that Rosie wasn't around when it happened.

As for the dressing room meltdown, ABC denies it. Still, Rosie continues to be cryptic about whether she's coming back next week, with her latest blog posting saying, "There is a point u must step away from the canvas as the work is done."

Rosie to Leave "The View"

Rosie -- Breaking NewsABC has just announced that Rosie O'Donnell will not be back on "The View."

Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, issued the following statement:

"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to 'The View' and wish her well."

Barbara Walters said: "I brought Rosie to the show. Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at "The View." I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

For her part, Rosie said: "I'm extremely grateful. It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

Britney Really Does Have Another Son!

For a while there, it looked like Britney's younger son Jayden James might turn out to be the Suri Cruise of 2007 -- the Incredible Invisible Infant. But just yesterday -- praise the Lord, ya'll -- the baby was seen (at least, we presume he was under that blanket), and of all things, the "Toxic" mama decided to take them out to sea!

Britney Spears, the boys and their trainwreck entourage went for a little cruise around Marina del Rey. Enjoy, y'all mateys!

Jessica – I Ignore My Fears

Jessica Simpson gallery: Click to launch photos
It's unclear what she's talking about, but Jessica Simpson has taken to the Internet airwaves to dispense some wisdom she gained while traveling in Europe for the Cannes film festival and elsewhere. She tells us on her personal website that she spent plenty of time in museums, and read about Michelangelo, which inspired her to write something that she herself reads over and over to "find new strength."

And it goes a little something like this: "Can facing our fear be what walks us to somewhere better? ... In my life, I ignore my fears too often, but then I'm left with nothing to challenge the best of me ... There is no discovery." After reading it over and over, and, again, we're not quite sure what she's talking about.

Paula Pussyfooting Around Dog-Breaks-Nose Story?

wacky-ass paula: click to launch photos
Did Paula Abdul's nose look suspiciously un-broken after her supposed trip and fall over her Chihuahua last weekend? Page Six thinks so, reporting that Paula's toying with the truth, and that what really happened was, according to their source, "She pitched a fit, threw something into a mirror or glass object, and a shard of glass struck her in the face." Ouch. Hence, it wasn't broken, and didn't look as swollen and out of joint as noses generally do. Paula's rep says the story is "absolutely, categorically untrue."

D.A. Won't Pull the Trigger on Ryan O'Neal

Ryan O'Neal
TMZ has learned that Ryan O'Neal will not face criminal prosecution for allegedly firing a gun during a late-night brawl with his son Griffin in February.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney claims there was "insufficient evidence to prove the case" against the 65-year-old actor, even after cops interviewed and re-interviewed several witnesses.

Ryan was arrested and booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm after Griffin's girlfriend called 911. In February, O'Neal's attorney Mark Werksman told TMZ that Ryan was badly injured in the incident, after Griffin allegedly struck him with a fire poker. Ryan's lawyer also stated that the actor "fired a shot in warning, not in anger."

Ryan's rep, Neil Hassman, tells TMZ, "We're extremely happy that the D.A., after a thorough investigation, has come to learn what we've known all along. Ryan was defending himself and we knew that's what would come out."

Calls to Griffin's attorney, Gloria Allred, were not immediately returned.

Party Favors: Brangelina Makes Sly Getaway in Cannes ... Doc Martens Apologizes for Kurt Ads ... Could "Pirates" Make $200 Mil This Weekend?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie -- and Brad's castmates in "Ocean's 13" -- escaped the crush of post-premiere admirers by pulling, as FOX News reports, an elaborate bait-and-switch on partygoers in Cannes. ... Doc Martens is apologizing to Courtney Love for the ad it ran in a UK publication showing Kurt Cobain wearing its shoes in heaven, calling the ad "offensive" and "a mistake." ... The third "Pirates of the Caribbean" could be the first film to gross over $200 million over the Memorial Day weekend, say the people who watch -- and care about -- such things.

16. Democrat or Republican, it doesn't matter! Al Gore struck a beautiful yet sad note on Letterman last night summarizing what is wrong with America and his recommendations for how to fix things like Global Warming, the war in Iraq, immigration issues, the health care crisis, etc. Quit giving so much time to these ridiculous stories about celebs, and let's pay attention to issues that preserve our country, our democracy, that pay tribute to "real heroes" (our wounded and killed soldiers) and improve our society. Educate ourselves, write our congressmen about our concerns, instead of writing the tabliods or at least in addition to, and as we do so, arm ourselves to vote wisely in elections!!!

19. We are living in American and freedom of speech is still around. We all have our own opinions. Rosie needs to respect other peoples rights. Her mouth is bigger and voice is louder than most so all we hear is her ideas, her thoughts, her voice.

20. Dear Imaklutz..
I've fallen like that before. In fact twice.. I call it the Tree fall.. I go straignt down.. Don't know where my ams are.. Don't seem to have any.. lol.. I go flat down on my face.. In fact the last time I came down; and I looked in horror at the fast approaching glass that had fallen and was headed for my left eye.. The pain was horriffic, but my eye was spared.. No cuts.. No broken glass.. Had a very huge black eye for a week or so.. lol..
So, yes It is quite possible that Paula fell flat on her face.. We should give her the benifit of the doubt..

21. Rosie needs help. She is rude and selfcentered. I don't care if I agree with her or not, I will never watch any show she is on or listen to anything she has to say...she is doing more harm for her "causes" than helping. She just needs to leave.

22. I love Rosie....and I believe in everything she supports....I understnad where Elisabeth is coming from too. But, I feel that Rosie has every right to become upset as an American citizen that DOES NOT believe in this war. Rosie inspires me to stand up for what I believe in......I CANT say that for Elisabeth....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ROSIE!!!!!!!

23. rosie does not play well with others

24. I am in the military, and I saw both clips. I think Rosie opened her big mouth and inserted her big foot and expected Elizabeth to bail her out when political pundits called her on it and Elizabeth said why should I? And rightfully so! Who did Rosie mean were terrorist? Answer your OWN question Rosie...

25. Rosie is stupid the world does not revolve around her and her BIG MOUTH

26. Rosie O'Donnell is EVERYTHING that Donald Trump says about her and MORE! She IS pig! She IS anti-American AND anti-troops! She and ALL of her fans don't even derserve to LIVE, let alone to live in America!

I'm NOT a particular "fan" of either Elizabeth nor Donald, but I most certainly support them both in their disagreements with Rosie!

Rosie's obit will be the highlight of my day, week, month and year if I ever have the pleasure of reading it! I KNOW many others (if NOT everyone) agrees wiyth my comments!

27. I still Rosie. Being a gay male she the voice we need. Her comments about Pres. Bush is her own. BUT I AGREE WITH HER> Keep going ROISE

28. This stuff, has been going on between Elizabeth and Rosie for long time.
I don't know why so much is being made about it now. We all knew how Elizabeth stood, she is very much a supporter of Bush, she went to the big formal dinner for Queen, and We all know Rosie is against the War, which I am also. I think this will die down in a little while. Meantime, Yea, for Rosie

Posted at 2:52PM on May 25th 2007 by J.Young

29. Lets face it Rosie is very opinionated, but Elizabeth is supposed to be her friend. Elizabeth is young and naive about the world. Elizabeth is living in the uppercrust of society, her views are definitely to the right. Pro war, Pro life, Non public service oriented people. If I would have to make a choice in this matter....I choose Rosie, big mouth and all. Rosie speaks what most middle class americans are thinking. The biggest problem with this whole mess is Elizabeth was wrong not to defend her friend...Rosie would have defended her to the end. Donald Trump said today that Elizabeth was the dumbest woman on T.V.. Just goes to show you that Elizabeth defended the wrong person during the episode...Rosie never would have gigged her like that.

30. Rosie needs to leave the View ASAP!! She has ruined what that show is supposed to be about. It has suddenly to turned in to the Rosie show and everything is about her. She needs to remember that everyone is intitled to their opinion and doesn't have to be the same as hers!
