Lets Get This Party Started
Did Rosie Leave Trail of Trash, 'Staches?

Wild Rosie Gallery: click to launch photosRosie O'Donnell may have burned whatever bridges she had at "The View," after her ballistic blowup with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, allegedly trashing her dressing room in anger.

And that's not all! Her chief writer, Janette Barber, reports Page Six, was escorted from ABC studios after she was caught drawing moustaches on photos of Elisabeth hanging around the building. Indeed, ABC confirmed to the Post that "photographs at 'The View's" offices were defaced," though it adds that Rosie wasn't around when it happened.

As for the dressing room meltdown, ABC denies it. Still, Rosie continues to be cryptic about whether she's coming back next week, with her latest blog posting saying, "There is a point u must step away from the canvas as the work is done."

Rosie to Leave "The View"

Rosie -- Breaking NewsABC has just announced that Rosie O'Donnell will not be back on "The View."

Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, issued the following statement:

"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to 'The View' and wish her well."

Barbara Walters said: "I brought Rosie to the show. Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at "The View." I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

For her part, Rosie said: "I'm extremely grateful. It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

Britney Really Does Have Another Son!

For a while there, it looked like Britney's younger son Jayden James might turn out to be the Suri Cruise of 2007 -- the Incredible Invisible Infant. But just yesterday -- praise the Lord, ya'll -- the baby was seen (at least, we presume he was under that blanket), and of all things, the "Toxic" mama decided to take them out to sea!

Britney Spears, the boys and their trainwreck entourage went for a little cruise around Marina del Rey. Wearing multiple hats and outfits, including one hat better suited to Ted Knight on "Mary Tyler Moore," -- the sailing lipsyncher has now docked for your viewing pleasure -- in our seaworthy gallery!

Enjoy, y'all mateys!

Jessica – I Ignore My Fears

Jessica Simpson gallery: Click to launch photos
It's unclear what she's talking about, but Jessica Simpson has taken to the Internet airwaves to dispense some wisdom she gained while traveling in Europe for the Cannes film festival and elsewhere. She tells us on her personal website that she spent plenty of time in museums, and read about Michelangelo, which inspired her to write something that she herself reads over and over to "find new strength."

And it goes a little something like this: "Can facing our fear be what walks us to somewhere better? ... In my life, I ignore my fears too often, but then I'm left with nothing to challenge the best of me ... There is no discovery." After reading it over and over, and, again, we're not quite sure what she's talking about.

Paula Pussyfooting Around Dog-Breaks-Nose Story?

wacky-ass paula: click to launch photos
Did Paula Abdul's nose look suspiciously un-broken after her supposed trip and fall over her Chihuahua last weekend? Page Six thinks so, reporting that Paula's toying with the truth, and that what really happened was, according to their source, "She pitched a fit, threw something into a mirror or glass object, and a shard of glass struck her in the face." Ouch. Hence, it wasn't broken, and didn't look as swollen and out of joint as noses generally do. Paula's rep says the story is "absolutely, categorically untrue."

D.A. Won't Pull the Trigger on Ryan O'Neal

Ryan O'Neal
TMZ has learned that Ryan O'Neal will not face criminal prosecution for allegedly firing a gun during a late-night brawl with his son Griffin in February.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney claims there was "insufficient evidence to prove the case" against the 65-year-old actor, even after cops interviewed and re-interviewed several witnesses.

Ryan was arrested and booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm after Griffin's girlfriend called 911. In February, O'Neal's attorney Mark Werksman told TMZ that Ryan was badly injured in the incident, after Griffin allegedly struck him with a fire poker. Ryan's lawyer also stated that the actor "fired a shot in warning, not in anger."

Ryan's rep, Neil Hassman, tells TMZ, "We're extremely happy that the D.A., after a thorough investigation, has come to learn what we've known all along. Ryan was defending himself and we knew that's what would come out."

Calls to Griffin's attorney, Gloria Allred, were not immediately returned.

Party Favors: Brangelina Makes Sly Getaway in Cannes ... Doc Martens Apologizes for Kurt Ads ... Could "Pirates" Make $200 Mil This Weekend?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie -- and Brad's castmates in "Ocean's 13" -- escaped the crush of post-premiere admirers by pulling, as FOX News reports, an elaborate bait-and-switch on partygoers in Cannes. ... Doc Martens is apologizing to Courtney Love for the ad it ran in a UK publication showing Kurt Cobain wearing its shoes in heaven, calling the ad "offensive" and "a mistake." ... The third "Pirates of the Caribbean" could be the first film to gross over $200 million over the Memorial Day weekend, say the people who watch -- and care about -- such things.

31. I THINK DEMOCRATE ARE OPEN MINDED AND REPUBLICANS ARE CLOSE MINDED IF YOU DISAGREE, THEN WHY ARE REPUBLICAN ELECTED IF THE MAJORITY OF VOTERS ARE DEMOCRATS ?

32. What did those Fat Pig's do to be compared to Rosie? Rosie got put in her place (which appears to be next to a buffet) to which she isnt use too. Good job Elizabeth!!!!!!

33. I would suport Adolph Hitler over that fat loudmouth Rosie O'Donnell. How that pig remains on any show or how anyone thinks she's worth having on their show has been one of the mysteries of television. She's not all that bright, not really well read, definately not funny, was never funny, and has a view of the world that she uses to "seem" original. Sorry Pig Face. It won't work any more.

PS...Barbara Walters needs to be fired for hiring that slug. But I guess it takes a dull no personality to hire a loudmouth simply to seem interesting and intelligent. She is neither.

34. Donald Trump should keep his mouth shut... The Rosie O'Donnell Show was on the air for years and was still highly rated when Rosie CHOSE to leave. The Apprentice was a joke which by the way was NOT renewed by NBC!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Rosie O'Donnell has contributed more to charities and helping needy families than Donald Trump or Elizabeth Hasselbeck! As for morals...well Donald Trump...we all know how moral you are...adultery, greed, etc. And for anyone to criticize a woman who has put the needs of foster children in the limelight...well it just shows that some peoples priorities are all screwed up!!!! We may not all like the manner in which Rosie expresses her views, but everyone is entitled to an opinion. I personally applaud Rosie for her bravery in expressing what many of us feel about the War in Iraq. Although I fully support our troops...I wonder if all those politicians who voted yes would have done so if their sons and daughters were soldiers. Unfortunately we will never know, sonce a majority of our brave soldiers come from families who could not afford to send them to college and in turn they were sold a line of crap...see the world,...we will pay for your education...blah blah blah. Well I guess all that tuition money they were promised is being well spent on a war that has cost our nation millions of dollars. But don't worry Donald and Elizabeth, your children are privaleged and will never have to fight in a war!!!!!!!!!!!

35. How sad people saying they hate someone, not because of some hidous crime. Because they have a difference politically. I find this sad. On both sides, I would think that we would hate things like child abuse, murder, war. I like both of the ladies it just got heated. Yet to say that we hate some one. I wonder what God would say to all of this? It's funny Christ forgave those who killed him, because he knew who he was. Yet we to make ourselves feel better or belong to what ever click there is will hate some one for having a different view then ourselves.

36. rosie is and has always been a lousy comidian and a worse talk show host (using term heavy ) so how could one expect anything but vile flame coming for her pie hole. at least some on the show have some class , but they are all up there for their bottom line.
As for Snore Gore i've seen smaller buffoons

37. Cavalierly referring to people as terrorists is wrong.

If your family was in some coffee shop somewhere
and a bomb blew up and you knew there were
a bunch of people in a hotel room laughing it
up in glee that they just killed a bunch of random
Americans, your sister among them, I don't think you'd
be quite so quick to compare some goofy
celebrity who doesn't agree with your political
opinions to someone who is dead set on
killing you and everyone you know and then creating
a society where you wouldn't be allowed to have any
opinion.

This country has to get over this ridiculous polar
opposition and name calling and start working
together.

38. Rosie needs to go, she should of never come on the show, she is loud and rude and crude, and her sexual orientation has no bering on the show, but all she ever does is dominate every show, this is after all the "view" not the "rosie" show. I have no idea what Barbara was thinking when she signed her up. Maybe a momentary "brain cloud" and your forgiven for that, but you made a huge mistake. You need someone who is more professional and can include every one on the panel. No more rosie, now I can go back to recordng the show again since she will be gone....I did not mind star but everyone else I really enjoyed. You really need to be careful who you replace her with. Im glad to be a view watcher once again. And Elisabeth, you rock, I totally enjoy watching you and respect our opinions, like the rest of the ladies (minus Rosie)..

39. As a military spouse, I believe Rosie needs psychiatric help. She called our troups terrorists, then tried to deny it. I support Elizabeth. What is Barbara Walters thinking. I believe her credibility has gone down the tubes.

40. Rosie is a big fat loud mouth pig.

41. Liz is young and very stupid. All she does is repeat what her ,god, the' prez bush 'would say. She needs to go over to Iraq and see what is really happening. It sure is not what our gov. is telling us.I will miss ROSIE. she talks real issues not fluff.

42. Rosie will be missed by me. I hope she gets a show on another network in the same time slot. I could not believe the "spat" between her and stubborn, tunnel vision Elizabeth. Elizabeth would not answer a direct question-just like the politicians she tries to emulate. Elizabeth is hard-headed, more than Rosie. Rosie has an opinion & states it and is OPEN TO DISCUSSION, but Elizabeth cannot consider any other viewpootherthan her own or that of her writers. Elizabeth is the one who should leave the VIEW-she contribunothing except to look decent in fashions. Let her go to her Republican country club and gripe with the "girls" and create fundraisers for politicians-the ideal role for her pea brain. Beyond that she is a narrow minded, bigotted, a real dingbat--Rosie is intelligent but Elizabeth is not open to anyone criticizing her President, despite his making major tactical error judgements that are causing our nation innocent lives & financial problems. Rosie is to be respected for her boldness, her bravery, her willingness to see both sides of the elephant.
And for you morons who bash her for being overweight--I have been both thin & overweight in my life, and it has nothing to do with your political or intellectual views, so your bashing her for her lack of discipline (perhaps), is irrelevant and just shows your lack of intellectual acumen. You are just looking for something-some weakness-to pick on. I would bet if you looked in your own mirrors, you would see IMPERFECTION staring back at you--remember that before you cast your stones, you simpletons.
YEAH for ROSIE O'Donnell--You may miss Joy, but you won't miss Eliz and Barbara (the master henchman corporate player of all time--so SUPERFICIAL and SHALLOW & letal. Women, learn from Barbara,if you want to rise to the top. You have to be a killer to get there-and make a lot of compromises to your integrity, & don't forget it. She was a pioneer, yes, granted, but it's because she "played the game"and still is. I can see where Rosie's sometimes brash remarks could rankle the "Queen of TV", but I respect Rosie more than Barbara, despite her sometimes rough edges, because at very least she is NOT A HYPOCRITE

43. I think they are using rosie as a scape goat for everything.............I respect her not only as a strong woman but for what she stands for........................As a lesbian woman myself, being real and true to yourself is a must!

44. Rosie sat there without saying a word while Joy was being interrupted constantly by Elizabeth. Finally, Rosie couldn't take Elizabeth's idiotic preaching and she entered the debate. Elizabeth is really naive. And what makes particularly stupid is her willingness to show off her ignorance. She has a limited knowledge of the facts and no knowledge of debate. She's really an embarrassment to all smart Republicans.

Posted at 6:02PM on May 25th 2007 by The President

45. Not a huge Rosie fan but I'm fed up with people misrepresenting her comments. She was NOT calling the military terrorists, as they MUST follow orders. She was implying the Bush Administration is the terrorist. If we were invaded and occupied by another country for four-years we would likely call the folks who invaded us terrorists. She was trying to get people to think of it from the innocent citizens of Iraq points of view. Not the "bad guys" in Iraq. Rosie supports the troups 100%. It's the Administration she opposes. There is a difference.
