It's true! Nick Cannon, from MTV's "Wild 'N Out," is being honored today at the Cannes Film Festival. Apparently, someone feels that his performance in "Bobby" was groundbreaking -- and qualifies Canon as the "Breakthrough Actor of the Year."
That's quite an accomplishment for someone whose prior memorable moments include improv fart noises and "yo mama's so fat" jokes.
A legend in the making.
16. O.K. I am not a huge fan of his MTV show but I can appreciate the fact that he created, writes, and produces the show. I would hardly rush to judgement and call him talentless, especially when you consider that prior to that in his teens he was already writing for episodes of sketch comedies and sitcoms on Nickelodeon.
He has also written some of his movies. This guy works harder than a lot of young actors. Writing him off as a no talent would be a mistake even if you don't like what you've seen so far.
