Rosie to Leave "The View"

1653. Oh do I miss Rosie. The View isn't The View anymore. It is just a run of the mill talk show with no-nonsense chatter. Rosie had a View - and it hit home more than not. Now all they talk about is Paris Hilton (ho, hum). Current events are a thing of the past, and heaven forbid, don't bring up the senseless/endless war! I have erased the recording setting for The View - can't bear the "bland and boring" show that it has become. Now it's "just another talk show" - forget the popcorn, just bring a pillow. ..zzz...whatever. PS Barbara, it's time for you to leave....

1655. Rosie had more impact on The View than any other host in the entire time the show has been on the air. IF they get an Emmy, it will be because of Rosie O"Donnel. Further, she was listed in Time Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world. Those are the facts. Unlike Elizabeth Hassellbeck who can only speak fast and spew nothing more than Republican rhetoric, Rosie O'Donnell actually gets involved. She donates her money and time to the issues and organizations she is passionate about, including our troops coming home to a country who doesn't take care of them. I don't think for one minute O'Donnell feels our troops are terrorists nor did she say that. After Liz went to the White House, she came back ever more the Little Replublican Poster Girl. All show no substance. I didn't always agree with O'Donnel's delivery, but I believe The View is boring now without her.

1656. The View is rather boring since Rosie left. She and Joy are the only brutally HONEST persons I have encountered on TV in eons! Rosie is more in touch with what is going on in this country and the world than most news reporters want to tell. This war is a travesty and Rosie was not afraid to tell it as it is!! I looked forward to hearing what she had to say every morning. Now I listen to the radio. There is little to no educational worth to most TV shows anymore.

I enjoyed The View because of Rosie....although she was off the wall at times...you could tell she was real...not driven by molded views, ignorance and hypocrisy which was aired daily by the other gals......especially that bunny chicky Elizabeth...who talks about things she clearly has no grasp on!!!!!.....She must get her news from MTV or misplaced her mind on the island!!!! This is how it works for your show Barbara...keep your views to yourself or be gone!!!!! No longer watching the view....No longer a "Viewer!"

1658. Liz Hasselback gets her View from Fox Noise and regurgitates it. Easy to tell when she speaks in soundbites and can't defend anything when it gets deeper than shallow. I don't watch Fox Noise and neither will I continue to watch Bush's Poster Child, or as O'Donnell puts it, "Bush's apologist".

In the end it is the voters' voices that are heard. Hear that, America? GET OUT AN VOTE!!!!!!!

1659. Elisabeth is FAKE FAKE FAKE !!!! I tried to watch the view without Rosie, but I just cannot do it. She SUCKED UP TO Barbara so much today I wanted to vomit all over that Bush Poster Child. Something about Barbara being Gods perfect creation. OMG !!!! I have soOOO had enough of her squeaky, glass shattering, high pitched, ridiculous voice....... I just cannot watch anymore. THANK GOD she's leaving soon...baby due in November. PRAY THIS FAKE doesn't return. I heard she's coming out with some type of baby clothes line... Remember that ridiculous HEAD GEAR SHE WORE ON SURVIVOR???? She even called herself an artist on todays show !!! Yeah right !!!! Maybe a blind and disfunctional artist. Skip the clothes line HONEY and concentrate more on educating yourself.....idiot !!!! With something more than FOX NEWS !!!!!

1663. The View is a bore. Barbara Walters is lucky woman's lib came when it did or she would never of had a million dollar contract. I would tune into the view once in a while when Rosie was there and watch Barbara tiptoe around the issues and try and hush up Rosie now and then. I could never stand watching it before didn't watch it much when Rosie was there and for sure won't watch it ever again. That Elisabeth should grow up. If they would even discuss real issues it would be nice. I just cringed when Elisabeth's dad phoned in once and she started acting like a little kid. I mean really aren't these supposed to be grown women. You would never she a man talk show with a male host acting all boyish because is pops called in. As if....

1664. On what plane of existence are we supposed to give a rats rusty bottom that Rosie will no longer be contributing her asinine, American-bashing input on "The View"? I am an American. I am not happy that we are at war, but I support the men and women who are doing what their government tells them to do and what they feel in their hearts and minds is right. You want a real breaking news story? Send Rosie's fat bottom over to Iraq and let her hold hands with Al-Quieda like Jane Fonda did in Vietnam. Maybe they will shove a backpack bomb up her fat rump and they can do us ALL a favor. If she doesn't have anything POSITIVE to contribute about what is going on over there, she should just SHUT UP and GO HOME!!!!!!

I agree that Rosie sometimes spoke on subjects that were inappropriate---- but I totally disagree that Rosie felt that she had to leave, and not the very culprit that always caused all the trouble--ELIZABETH HASSELBECK!!!!!. She is nothing but a spoiled rich brat that just happens to be married to a useless quarterback ( and I watch football all the time!) I don't know why he is kept on the team--he couldn't make a touchdown if he and the receiver were the only two on the field. And Elizabeth needs to be let go from the View and put back in the jungle where she just happened to make somewhat of an impression on Survivor! She has nothing to add to the panel, except when the Republican Party is mentioned! She is useless.
