Rosie to Leave "The View"

Rosie ABC has just announced that Rosie O'Donnell will not be back on "The View."

Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, issued the following statement:

"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to 'The View' and wish her well."

Barbara Walters said: "I brought Rosie to the show. Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at "The View." I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

For her part, Rosie said: "I'm extremely grateful. It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

18. What a truly sad outcome. Perhaps ABC can do some damage control and FIRE Elizabeth. The conservative, Republican, narrow-minded, arrogant baby machine needs to go! But if she's real lucky, maybe the Wizard will give Elizabeth a brain!

19. I knew she wasn't coming back. Rosie came to that show and did her thang. She gave the view a view. I never thought of her as being articulate but the show proved that she is well spoken and well informed. Though I think she is acting like a child not wanting to come back after the disagreement (like a kid who doesn't ever want to go back to school because they fell in front of the whole cafeteria) Isn't the show about different people with different views. DUH!

28. I used to like Rosie. Not anymore, she is very sickening. Doesn't know when to keep her thoughts to herself and realize she has said enough. I am glad she is leaving early. I bet Kelly is embarrassed by most of the things she says or does.
