Rosie to Leave "The View"

Rosie ABC has just announced that Rosie O'Donnell will not be back on "The View."

Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, issued the following statement:

"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to 'The View' and wish her well."

Barbara Walters said: "I brought Rosie to the show. Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at "The View." I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

For her part, Rosie said: "I'm extremely grateful. It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

41. I used to like her but no more. Her constant soapbox about lesbian stuff and everybody is homophobic according to her. It's disgusting. You don't hear people talking all the time about the fact they are heterosexual. They are so what, be quiet about it. Everything is a soapbox about some issue. Just my opinion but I think she is the one who is not comfortable with being a lesbian. Maybe she keeps thinking what her mom would have thought of her. As a result she can't deal with her own issues so is miserable and nasty to everyone else. . I'm glad to see her go. If some network offers her a show, they need their heads examined - nobody will watch. At least nobody with taste will. Can't believe I'm saying this but I think "THE DONALD" is right about her.

44. So thankful she is leaving early. Couldn't wait to see her go. Would be great to never have to see her or hear her again.. No one should be that big of a loud mouth trying to push her idiotic ideas on to everyone else. Who cares what she thinks and tries to make you believe? So obnoxious. She is the worst, always stirring up a can of worms, to put it mildly. Not too many people I don't like but she is sure one of them. TMZ is really scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
