Lohan Busted on Suspicion of DUI

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan was cited for investigation of driving under the influence Saturday and was slightly injured when her Mercedes struck a curb, police told the Associated Press.

Lohan, 20, and two other passengers were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when it crashed at about 5:30 AM into a curb on Sunset Blvd., Sgt. Mike Foxen told the AP.

"She was cited and released because she has been admitted to a local hospital for minor injuries," Foxen said.

No one else was hurt and no other cars were involved, Foxen said. He did not have other details. Officers went to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the accident, Foxen said. He went on to say that Lohan will have to appear in court to answer the citation.

Calls to Lohan's rep were not immediately returned.

212. Gee u think the police would start with the nightclub and send a message not to serve to these young hollywood stars. Not to let them in until they turn 21. No they let these girls in probally give them the booze for free let the drug dealers loose to hook them on coke and open up again tomorrow. She started her night at the club. When are the police gonna get tough with the club owners. SEND THEM A MESSAGE.

214. TMZ has sources that saw her drinking in the club and they have her on camera leaving at 3:30 in the morning. Why don't they turn the evidence over to the police and have them close the club down or let them give the club a citation!!!!

Everyone knows these youn celebs are out every night, why aren't police raiding these "hot spots" to find the underage drinkers (celebrities included) before things like this happen? You can really tell the difference between NY and LA money and celebrity. Compare some stupid young girl like Lindsay to the poise, grace, intelligence and ability to stay home of someone like Ivanka Trump. I

No surprise here or with anyone who uses and abuses, they are suffering from addiction, they did not want or ask to be addicted to drugs, they do take the drugs and are responsible for their actions,but there is something in millions of us that triggers the need-desire or appetite for more and more, many do not have this problem-God Bless You, please don't judge those that do.
Fancy treatment centers on the ocean that cost $70,000.00 a month, psychotic drugs, all the other so-called quick fixes will not work; placing band-aids on symptoms, must get to the root causes-simple but tough road-worth the journey!
I have been there, done that, sober and straight 31 years. I paid a huge price, no ones fault, no outside blame here, I accepted my role, took action, made ammends, pray and ask God everyday for another day and thank Him at night.
There is HOPE, anyone can get sober and straight, must be willing to go to any lengths. Noone can tell you your an addict, all the trouble will not get you sober, love from friends and family will not do it, you must do it, and that time is entirely up to you-when you have finally had enough-hopefully it will not kill you or put you behind bars for life
